Sailor Shaula nodded before looking over at
Sailor Sun. "You could use one" she said.
"Alright then lets get going!" Sailor Capella
said, but first I think we might want to de-transform." She
added as she looked down at her uniform.
They nodded and then de-transformed, none of
them noticing that Reptile was once again watching them.
Skorr held Sailor Eclipse
in his arms, she'd been crying herself to sleep lately and it
worried him a lot, the only times she actually seemed to be
happier was when he was holding her.
He then wrapped his wings around her smaller
form, his tail whipping back and forth at a gentle pace. He felt
at peace when she was with him.
He smiled then began to purr low in his throat in
an effort to soothe her, nuzzling her he smiled as she yawned
and smiled up at him before placing a gentle kiss on his cheek.
"Hey" he said softly as he hugged her.
She looked up into his eyes. "Yeah?" She said
softly.
"How are you feeling?" he asked her.
"A little better." She admitted.
"I'm glad," he told her, before he then kissed on
the tip of the nose. "Hungry?" he asked her.
"I don't know. I could go for some ice cream."
She admitted, "it always cheers me up," she added.
"Want me to go and get you some?" he asked her.
"We could go out together, me as Tasha you as
Jason?" She suggested.
He nodded then kissed her deeply. *Anything for
you my princess* he said in her mind purring slightly. *I am
after all yours* he said and she smiled a bit before kissing him
back both passionately and possessively.
Sailor Eclipse looked into Skorr's eyes after the
kiss. "Just remember that you are mine and mine alone." She
snuggled into his chest.
"Always" he said as his image rippled into that
of Jason Marks, and her image rippled into that of Tasha,
smiling he got up then extended his left hand to her. "Shall we
go my lady?" he asked her.
"Yes we shall." She said happily.
He purred before he opened a portal and the
couple left, appearing in an alleyway nearby the ice cream
parlor.
Skorr stiffened, "your cousin's here" he said,
sensing Sailor Sun close by.
"Oh great, what should we do? I don't want to
fight." She looked up into Skorr's eyes pleadingly.
"We could shape shift, I'm not in the mood for
fighting anyways. What I am in the mood for is pleasing you," he
told her and she smiled up at him.
"Yes you can, but I can't." Tasha said sadly.
He looked at her before blinking in
understanding. "That was the lesson that Shang never got around
to teaching you wasn't it?" he asked her.
Tasha nodded. "Is there anything you can do?"
He nodded, and then gently bit into her neck
before withdrawing his fangs and wiping the blood over the wound
before his hand glowed and her image changed, rippling to a girl
with all black hair and a paler skin color. "You like?" he asked
her as he handed her a mirror, and she looked at her clothes,
which were now more jean based.
Tasha flinched as she saw
her cousin and her friends sitting and eating ice cream at a
nearby booth in the shop - her cousin looking more serious then
usual and for a moment her heart went out to her red haired
cousin.
Although she and Skorr had assumed different
forms, the leader of the Apocalypse Scouts was still upset and
nervous. What if Jessica recognized her? What if she screwed up?
What if Skorr went back on his word? It had been nearly 1,999
years since she had seen him and although she was happy with the
demi-god, she was very afraid for his sanity and her cousin.
She knew how determined he could be once he set
his mind to something...
As if he had sensed her train of thought; Skorr
ordered some ice cream for the both of them, and taking her hand
he led her towards a booth in the back.
"You okay?" he asked her in concern, his now
jade green eyes never leaving her face and her own eyes.
Upon seeing the love and concern in his eyes,
Tasha smiled at her lover. "A little bit" she said honestly.
"Want me to summon Ermac and have him distract
them?" he asked her in a soft voice, a voice that seemed to not
even be his own.
"No," she began, hesitating before she then
smiled up at him again. "I-I-I-I-I just want to be here with
you." She replied as she snuggled against him.
He beamed happily upon hearing her statement, her
words and actions had always made him feel as if he belonged
somewhere, or rather with her and her alone. To him her words,
her compliments, along with her loving and accepting side, only
added to her fierce determination, her fiery passionate side,
her beauty, poise, grace, intelligence, and powerful spirit only
serving to make him love her even more then he'd thought he was
capable of!
"Then you will have it my princess," he said
with a small shy smile, and idly he hoped that things would
always be good between them both. "Along with anything else your
heart desires" he promised.
Tasha smiled and she fought
back the urge to not cry - it had been so long since she'd been
happy - so long since she'd felt truly loved and now here was
this demi-god, this demon making her happy.
He; the insane, souless, ruthless, demonic
creature from a realm far darker then any she had ever known
loved her with his entire being - reaching up she kissed him on
the lips, feeling safe.
"Right now - all I want is you," she said as she
pulled away from him, a smile on her face before she looked over
at Jessica, and her friends and sighed. "Mostly" she said in a
whisper.
"You miss her." He pointed out before he hugged
her in a soothing, comforting manner. "I'm sorry,” he said.
"For what?" she asked as she blinked in
astonishment while looking at her mate.
"For making things worse between you two" he said
honestly.
She recoiled in shock; did he actually think
that this was his fault? She asked herself before she grabbed
him then kissed him deeply.
"I choose you and while I am sad and miss her
I don't regret choosing to be with you or my friends." She said
with conviction though they both knew that deep down she did
regret it somewhat. "I love you and only you, and no one is
going to take you away from me!" she said in a dark voice. "No
one's going to split us up again! I'll die before that
happens!!" she stated before kissing him again.
"And I love you" he admitted before he
returned her kiss with a passionate one of his own. "I just
wish I could make you truly happy." He said in a resigned tone.
"Don't talk that way! You do make me happy. I
feel so safe and secure and carefree when I am with you" Tasha
admitted, "Jessy just wouldn't understand, not well enough to
accept me for who I am now!" She said angrily trying not to
raise her voice.
Skorr nodded, hugging her - neither of the pair
seeing Jessica who had been within earshot of the conversation,
which not only floored her but, also hurt her very deeply.
Jessica stared in shock, not believing that Tasha
would say that she couldn't understand her and accept her as she
was now.
"You, you don't mean that do you?" Jessica
asked in a soft voice, it was barely audible.
Tasha blinked then looked over her now blue eyes
meeting Jessica's, Skorr meanwhile growled protectively, putting
an arm around Tasha as if afraid to lose her to Jessica.
"Why?"
"Because you never did,” she said in a cracked
voice.
"I have tried Tasha, I really have, but you
are hurting yourself. Just look into a mirror, there is no
possible way that you can't tell me that you aren't hurting
yourself in any way shape or form."
"Baby? What's she talking about" Skorr asked as
he looked at her.
She looked away and he frowned, "your wrong,
she's never hurt herself" he said.
"Yes she has, and she is even trying to hide it
from you."
"Is that true?" he asked Tasha who nodded once
showing her right arm which had been slashed repeatedly.
"I am only trying to protect her from hurting
herself." Jessica said as she looked from Tasha to Skorr.
"And I am trying to make her happy" he said with
a growl before his eyes glowed and instantly all time around the
group was frozen.
Jessica looked around, there was a woman
walking her dog on the other side of the road and they were
stopped in mid stride, in the park in the distance Jessica could
see a batter read to hit the ball that was only a few inches
away from his bat. She turned back to Skorr.
Tasha looked up at him but said nothing; she knew
he was trying to protect her from what he perceived to be a
threat.
"That's only a small glimmer of the power I
happen to have, want me to cause a plague to descend on a large
city? I can do that to and create things out of pure matter" he
said with a challenge, "and since I've got enough power I can
simply erase the matter that creates you, but I won't for
Tasha's sake."
"Look, I just want to help Tasha, can we
please not make this into a pissing contest of power?" Jessica
pleaded.
Skorr's eyes glowed and he snarled. "You just
want to take her away from me" he hissed, the other scouts
getting up and standing beside Jessica.
"No I don't! I just want to make sure she
does hurt herself!" Jessica pointed to her cousin's arm."
He roared as he shifted into his true form his
eyes blazing and pulsing with energy and before anyone could
even move Jessica found herself floating in mid-air, her throat
being crushed by something invisible.
Madison jumped in the air and swung a hard kick
at Skorr's arm, which was held up and appeared to be clasping
the air. Tasha's leg kicked out knocking Madison down before she
transformed to Sailor Eclipse in front of them and the other two
Apocalypse Scouts appeared out of nowhere.
"Skorr, please let her go," she pleaded.
Snarling Skorr nodded then released Jessica
before he turned his attention to Madison. "YOU DARE TO DEFY
ME?!!" he roared in a voice that boomed like that of thunder
itself.
The ground began to shake and the untransformed
Stellar Senshi found it hard to find their footing.
"I WILL DESTROY YOUR ATOMS FOR ALL THE PAIN
YOU'VE CAUSED MY MATE!!" he said and instantly lightning
shackles appeared around Madison's feet and hands.
She found herself unable to move and with a
bright flash a jolt of electricity was sent through her body,
she shook in pain and screamed.
Jessica stared in horror before she and the other
scouts transformed. "Tasha, please make him stop!" Sailor Sun
pleaded with her cousin.
Tasha looked over at Skorr, "please Skorry stop"
she said and as Skorr was about to stop a brilliant lightning
bolt hit him and threw him into a counter.
The Stellar Senshi ran to catch their friend as
she fell to the ground. She gulped in the air as fast as her
long would allow.
"SKORR!!!" Tasha screamed as she ran to her
lover's side and the demi-god groaned in pain as she helped him
up.
Skorr groaned, his skin looking charred a
bit as Tasha helped him to her feet then turned her eyes to see
the man who had been in the booth behind the Stellar Scouts as
he got up and his image rippled and shifted into the image of a
man dressed in white and some brown, with a Chinese Hat on his
head and all white eyes with no pupils.
"Rayden" she hissed in anger as she glared at the
newcomer in anger.
The man - Rayden sighed. "Tasha" he said sadly.
"I should have known" he said ruefully as he looked at her
before he turned and looked at the Stellar Scouts.
Tasha glared at Rayden and her arms started to
glow before Skorr put a hand on her left arm. "I see that we
aren't wanted around here so we'll leave now" he said and a
portal appeared out of nowhere, Skorr, Sailor Eclipse, Sailor
Scourge and Sailor Malice jumping through it before it then
closed up.
Sailor Sun looked towards Rayden.
"My apologies Princess Cassandra, had I known
that Skorr and Takai were here I would have come sooner, but
they have been limiting their powers in an effort to keep
themselves cloaked from myself and the other beings that
imprisoned them" he said with a small smile. "Your mothers would
be very proud of all of you," he said truthfully before his
image shifted into that of a young man with black hair and he
then sat down beside them just as time restarted.
Brooke looked at the man as she searched her
memory before she smiled shyly. "Your the person who helped
Kurai-ki" she said.
Raydan nodded slowly as recognition dawned on
the entire group. "I am also the one who imprisoned Akujun."
"So when Skorr showed too much power you knew
that something wasn't right?" Alissa asked.
He nodded. "Yes, thankfully Skorr's insanity
clouds his intelligence at times."
"So what are you going to do now?" Jennifer
asked.
He sighed, "try and keep Skorr and Takai from
releasing their father and from bringing about Armageddon by
merging their realm with this one."
"That doesn't sound good." Jessica said as she
turned her worried blue eyes from Rayden to her friends.
"Is there anything we can do to stop it?" Madison
asked impatiently, she hated this chitchat.
"Find out how they are going to release him and
stop them from doing so. Their father is sealed in the
Neatherealm - breaking free would require tremendous amounts of
power."
"Where would you find yourself some tremendous
amount of power just lying around?" Brooke asked softly.
Rayden looked at her before frowning, "the only
answer I could think of would be Akujun’s amulet, it harnesses
the power of all the elements."
"And let me guess you have no idea where it could
be hidden?" Madison said angrily.
Rayden chuckled, "on the contrary I was the one
who took it away from him."
"So where is it?" Madison said as she jumped up
from her seat.
"The temple of the four winds in Nepal" he said
calmly.
Madison let out a big sigh and sat down. "So how
and the hell are we going to get there?"
Jessica cleared her throat. "I might be able
to teleport us, but I don't know if I am strong enough."
"Why not just let me open a portal to the place,
like I did when Alissa was fighting Scorpion?"
"We could, but we can't go right now. Eclipse
and Nova aren't here and neither is Kevin. And I am guessing we
are going to need all of the help we can get."
Rayden nodded slowly. "There's also the matter of
your cousin's soul" he said.
Jessica looked at Rayden with questioning and
worried eyes. "What?"
"Her soul is on the line, it could go either way
like her mother's could have once had Akujun not had Takai
poison it even worse then it was already poisoned."
Brooke moved uncomfortably in her seat. "So what
do we have to do to save her?" Jessica asked. "I will do
_anything_."
"Try to get her away from Skorr, the darkness you
feel from him is clouding her judgment" he said in a disgusted
tone.
"But every time I try o get her away from him,
she goes closer to him." Jessica pointed out.
He frowned for a moment. "What do you know of
your cousin's past?" he asked her uncomfortably.
"A lot, the drugs, sex and alcohol." She said
sadly.
He nodded, "do you know of her nightmares?" he
asked her.
"No..."
Sighing Rayden extended his hand to hers. "I
think you need to see them if you are going to save her" he
said.
Jessica slowly took his hand and instantly there
was a rush of light as Rayden's eyes glowed as bright as
lightning and instantly she found herself ... at her home … her
home of the past - her friends beside her and Rayden watching
them silently.
"We are here during the time up to and before
your mother banished Skorr" he said slowly, "we can only see the
past as it happens."
Jessica looked around; everything was so
familiar, yet it was still a strange place. She slowly took a
step forward and let her hand out to touch a smooth marble wall,
just to make sure it was real.
He watched as her eyes widened upon feeling the
marble wall, "in just a few hours your cousin and Skorr will be
discovered, your aunt will banish Skorr out of fear for her
niece's life - only to instead be killed by Princess Ravina who
then takes her own life."
"I, I don't know if I want to see this. Where am
_I_ right now?" She asked as she looked down the long corridor.
He was about to reply when she noticed a dark
haired tan skinned girl with black hair; the girl wore a red
dress and was now sneaking out of the castle.
The girl looked around the locust tattoo on
her arm glowing a bit, she looked sad and alone at least until
she saw a shadowy figure emerge from the shadows. "I was
beginning to think yo-you-you'd never come." she said in a soft
whisper.
"By all that's unholy of course I'd come" the
figure said adamantly in a familiar male voice before walking
out of the shadows and Jessica watched as Skorr enfolded her
cousin from the past in a hug. "I missed you" Skorr said with a
small smile, "thought your aunt was never going to let you leave
- her being a stick in the mud and all" he said with a chuckle
before she punched him in the right arm playfully.
"Be nice," she said with a small smile.
"She's family," she said.
The demon paused for a moment then hugged her
gently. "I'm sorry," he said as he kissed her. "Takai's going to
make sure that she'll end up in hell where she belongs," he
promised.
Ravina smiled as she snuggled against him. "It's
not your problem Skorr," she said as she looked up at him.
"I know," he told her before she offered him her
neck and he purred then bit into it gently.
Queen Solarity walked in from the Garden. Her
long golden dress trailed behind her. She was very beautiful,
with soft flawless skin, small blue eyes and long flowing red
hair that went down to the floor. On the top of her brow was a
crown lines with red jewels and in the center there was a golden
sun.
Rayden gently put a hand on Jessica's shoulder,
"are you okay?" he asked in concern. Jessica blinked back the
tears, oh how she wanted to run to her mother and prevent the
death of her mother.
Skorr slowly withdrew his fangs and he looked at
Ravina who smiled looking a little flushed. "Wow" was all she
said.
"I concur," he said with a smile, "I - I - I
never felt emotions like those from anyone."
The Queen glided down the corridor silently,
obliviously to what was happening just around the next corner.
"Is this what it's like to be claimed?" she
asked shyly.
"I think so, I've never done it before - truth
be told there was never anyone I wanted to claim" he said before
he kissed her. "Before now" he said as he then lightly traced
his tongue along the bite marks on her neck.
She had just rounded a corner when her eyes
widened in horror upon seeing the hulking creature, thing that
was draining her niece of blood in front of her!
The Queen summoned forth the Solaris Scepter
and directed it at the demon. She chanted a few words silently
and a golden ray of light shot forth from the top of the
Scepter.
Skorr turned then shielded Ravina with his body
just as the blast hit him and threw him back and Ravina turned
to her aunt and stared in shock before running over to the
demon. "Skorr?" she asked as she hugged him.
"Anyone get the number of that dragon that hit
me?" he asked weakly.
"Get away from me niece you monster!" The Queen
shouted angrily as she readied her Scepter.
"Aunt Solarity stop!!" Ravina said as she moved
in front of Skorr.
"Get back child! He is a monster! He will only
end up hurting you!" She took a step forward and pointed the
Scepter at Skorr's head.
"First of all I am not a child and second I love
him" she shot back, her eyes flashing with anger before she
kicked the Scepter out of her aunt's hands and it flew then
landed on the ground.
"She's being manipulated highness" an old man
said as he staggered in, looking like he'd been stabbed in the
side, "this is the only way - use it and the Scepter!" he said
as he threw a large black diamond to her then fell to the ground
- not moving.
The palace shot, the Queen looked towards the
ceiling, a tile fell from high above. She put her head down and
looked at the black diamond in her hand. She breathed in deeply;
Queen Hecate had begun the attack on the Palace. The protection
shield had been shattered.
She closed her eyes, placing the diamond with the
Scepter. She had to get back there but she couldn't leave her
niece here alone with this monster. She sent another blast at
Skorr.
Skorr staggered to his feet, shaking the dust off
of himself. "I warn you Solarity that I am far different from
any demon you've faced before."
"You all are soulless and are creatures of
destruction." The Queen said as she stood there, hands clenched
at her sides.
He
snorted, "Just because I don't have a soul doesn't mean I can't
feel things,” he said with a chuckle before he began to tap into
the souls of the dying and his power began to grow. "Feel that?
It’s the powers that come with being a demi-god."
"See you are just like the rest of them, feeding
of the innocent souls of so many." Queen Solarity moved her hand
so that it was facing the Scepter and it shook violently for a
moment before it flew into her hand.
He yawned before he blasted her with dark
lightning. "I'm strong her then they are," he said before Ravina
ran up to him only to be knocked down by a pillar of energy that
had been created by some of Hecate’s forces.
"RAVINA!!!" he screamed as he tried to go to her.
A protective shield had formed around the Queen
and she was only shocked slightly.
"Princess!" The Queen shouted as she too ran to her niece.
Suddenly there was another blast and both herself and Skorr were
flung to the opposite walls.
Skorr got up and tried to get to his mate once
more. Queen Solarity also stood and made her way towards her
niece, fearful that she was dead.
He
hissed then attacked her without warning, shoving her to the
ground.
"SHE'S
MINE!" he roared angrily. She dodged the crazed demon's attack
and tried to fight back, for some reason the scepter wasn't
working on him anymore. Skorr laughed insanely. "It doesn't work
now that I've absorbed some of it's power" he said as if he was
reading her mind, "time to die" he hissed as his entire body
began to glow and chains made of energy shot towards her.
Instinctively Solarity clenched the diamond and
the scepter both of glowed then annihilated the attack before a
dark stream of energy shot forth from the stone itself and hit
Skorr - throwing him to the ground.
He tried to get up but as he did so the diamond
glowed and a tendril of energy shot forward, wrapping his body
up and pulling him towards the stone which was no longer resting
in the Queen's hands, it was now on the floor expanding.
Skorr felt
incredible pain and he slammed his hands into the ground, trying
to pull himself away from the energy, he was almost free when he
noticed Queen Solarity standing there before him.
"Don't - please" he whimpered.
The Queen held out a shaky hand and pointed the
Scepter at Skorr. With one final blast it forced Skorr into the
stone. There was a bright flash of black and purple light,
followed by a strong wind that blew the Queen's hair in all
directions. ... Then it was silent and the black diamond had
disappeared.
"Skorr?" Ravina asked as she struggled to stand,
looking for her mate.
"You are safe now Ravina." The Queen said as she
breathed in a deep breath.
"What?" Ravina asked as she stared at the spot
where her aunt and Skorr had been fighting.
"He is gone, you are safe now." She repeated.
"Ohh yes safe to be alone, without the person who
loved me" she said bitterly as she looked up and glared at her
aunt with anger and a deep pain.
"He would have destroyed you child." The Queen
took a step towards her niece.
"You have no right to even say that - you never
knew him" she said with a hateful spat. "Nor did you even know
me or the fact that he saved me from Shao Khan!" she said and
without warning a blast of shadowy energy slammed then threw her
aunt across the room and Ravina who looked to be on verge of
crying removed the Serpent's Eye Medallion.
"SERPENT'S EYE POWER!!!" she said and instantly
she was transformed into the leader of the fallen scouts.
"Ra...Ravina?" The Queen took a step back.
"You don't deserve to even say my name" Sailor
Eclipse said in a controlled and angered voice as she stalked
forward. "You took the one thing that made me feel loved away,"
she began angrily.
"I am the Sailor Scout of Darkness, as well as
the Leader of the Apocalypse Scouts, ruin my fun and I will ...
take ... your ... very Soul!" she screamed as she hurled a ball
of shadow energy at her aunt.
"I am the Sailor Scout of Darkness, as well as
the Leader of the Apocalypse Scouts, ruin my fun and I will ...
take ... your ... very Soul!" she screamed as she hurled a ball
of shadow energy at her aunt.
Solarity dodged the energy blast, never taking
her eyes off her niece. She'd never seen that much power from
Ravina before. "Ravina?" The Queen said as she looked at her
niece with shocked eyes. "Please stop this, your mother attacks
the Palace as we speak. She will destroy everything with her
army of corrupted souls."
"Give me one good reason why in hell I should
help you?" Sailor Eclipse screamed angrily. "YOU TOOK AWAY THE
PERSON I LOVED!!!" she screamed.
"He is a demon, he would end up hurting you. If I
had of known that you two truly loved each other I wouldn't have
done it."
"Liar!" she said as she teleported then appeared
behind her and punched her in the back twice, the blows sending
Solarity stumbling. "Ohh and you can thank De'mitri for teaching
me" she said as she hurled another energy ball at her aunt who
managed to get away from the powerful attack.
"De'mitri has turned?" The Queen asked more to
herself then to Ravina, she should have seen it coming.
"You outta know, you booted him,” Sailor Eclipse
said angrily as her eyes crackled with power.
"But I never thought he would turn." The Queen
said as she dodged another attack from her niece.
"He had no other place left to go - Skorr's dad's
given him tons of power" Sailor Eclipse said coldly barely able
to contain her anger
"Please Ravina, calm down. I must go see what I
can do to protect the Sun Kingdom, and I need your help."
"Fat chance" she said before she closed her eyes
and her body began to glow with a silver and black aura.
"Inariaus gretaatricha cykriusden" Sailor Eclipse said as she
began to chant in a strange tongue.
Instantly her entire body glowed before shadowy
tentacles of energy lashed out at her aunt who dodged most of
the attacks.
"And when I'm done with you, I'll take care of
dear old neglectful mother" Sailor Eclipse said.
"Ravina please, listen to yourself" Solarity
began frightened of her own niece. "You can't hate your own
family for what she did."
"No but I can hate and kill you for hurting me"
Ravina said before her eyes glowed and the entire building began
to rupture as she caused it to fall on them both. "At least I
will be with him," she said coldly.
"Ravina don't. For your sake don't." The Queen
made her final plea.
"You took my sake, my reason for living away" she
said as they met their death, a serene look on her face.
Before Sailor Eclipse met her fate, the Queen
made sure that her niece’s soul, and essence was sent, sent into
the future. Where she could start over. Start a new life.
The only problem was that Akujun had learned of
where the soul would be going and had given De'mitri immortality
in an effort to find the soul.
As the scene slowly faded back to the ice cream
shop. Rayden looked at Jessica calmly. "Are you alright?" he
asked kindly.
"Does Tasha feel any guilt at all?"
"I would assume so, but she's very angry which is
why she is lashing out at you."
"Why is she so angry?" Brooke asked.
"She blames everyone for not being there for her
save for her friends, De'mitri and Skorr (who had a legitimate
excuse)."
"At least in her mind anyways, one has to
remember she isn't exactly working with a full deck."
"So what can we do?" Alissa asked softly.
"I honestly have no idea. I'm not the elder god
in charge of souls - Akujun was and now with his reemergence and
that of his family well..." he trailed off and shook his head.
"Best guess is to try and save her.”
"It will take awhile but I am willing to try
anything." Jessica replied.
Rayden was about to speak before he looked up and
sighed. "I'm sorry but I need to go" he sadly. "Akujun’s forces
have launched an attack on the temple of winds," he said slowly.
"But I will return" he said and before their very eyes he glowed
like lightning then vanished in a boom of thunder.
