Chapter # 12 – Darkness and Despair : Uncertainty –

The portal flared to life and Sailor Pollux fell onto the ground of what appeared to be a dark large crypt tons of bones around her, spider webs on small structures before her.

"Welcome" Scorpion said and she looked up to see him standing on top of a small watchtower before he flipped down and began to trade punches with her.

She tried to dodge his blows but Scorpion was faster then she'd expected, grabbing onto a piece of wood she did a high kick that sent him reeling.

He regained his balance then fell to the floor, and did a sweeper kick that knocked her feet out from under her before back flipping up and attacking her.

She dodged his next blow before flipping up onto another small watchtower and he ran forward.

"GET DOWN HERE!!" he ordered as he knocked the sticks of the platform she was on and she went falling onto the ground and she screamed a bit upon seeing some skulls.

Scorpion appeared in a flash of fire and then hurled a fireball at her; she dodged before accidentally jumping right into a portal made of lightning, which closed up before Scorpion could get to it.

The dead ninja's eyes glowed angrily before he vanished again returning to the Neatherealm.

The portal in which she'd fallen into opened up and she found herself back on the ground back where Scorpion had kidnapped her. The other scouts and the Daystar Knight made their way over to her, "are you alright?" Sailor Shaula asked her friend.

"Where did Scorpion take you?" Daystar Knight asked.

"I'm not sure what that was." She said as she stood up slightly shaking.

"What happened?" Sailor Spica asked.

"I - I don't know, one moment I was fighting him in some tomb like place and the next I fell through a portal and ended up back here." She said.

"Well that is kind of weird. Did he say anything to you?" Sailor Sun asked concerned.

 "Aside from come here nothing else."

"Well then I suggest we get out of here, Takai stopped attacking the School a little while ago. It was really weird, in mid kick he disappeared.

 The others nodded before a flash of energy hit Sailor Shaula and threw her back and Sailor Eclipse and Sailor Malice stood there before the group with grins on their faces. "We're here,” they said evilly as they got into fighting stances.

"Oh joy, who is this bimbo?" Sailor Spica asked rudely as she too jumped into a fighting stance.

"She said her name was Sailor Malice." Sailor Pollux explained.

 "Bimbo? bimbo Ahh aints as much of one as you air!" she said angrily.

"Either way what do you want?" The orange haired senshi demanded.

"Ta kill ya" she said before she and her fellow fallen scout grinned evilly. "Aritrochruis que una comedrianna" she said as she began to chant her eyes glowing.

"What the heck is she doing?" Sailor Spica asked angrily.

"Trigrantrus zecruna Spicaoria chandri" she said as she finished her chant and Sailor Spica's fears became reality.

It was then that the eyes of Sailor Sun, Sailor Shaula, Sailor Capella, and Sailor Pollux's glowed eerily along with the Daystar Knight's eyes and they began to advance on Sailor Spica.

 "I'm sick of your roller-blading all over the place - don't you have something better to do?" Sailor Sun demanded angrily.

 "Why can't you grow up - we're not in the third grade anymore!" Sailor Capella snarled at Sailor Spica

Sailor Spica blinked in horror as her friends began to yell at her and talk down to her like she was some little child, all while Sailor Eclipse and Malice laughed at them.

"STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT!!!" She screamed as her friends continued to yell and berate her.

The two fallen senshi grinned, "ummmmm hell no!!" Sailor Malice said as they laughed again.

Sailor Spica curled up and began to cry, never had she felt so alone, never had she felt like everything was against her, as her friends insulted her and the two fallen scouts continued to laugh at her as they watched the scene before Nova and Eclipse appeared on the scene and tackled the two scouts who fell to the ground, and Malice's spell ended.

Sailor Spica meanwhile hadn't noticed as she continued to cry huddled on the ground hugging herself tightly.

Malice snarled then kicked Nova in the face as Sailor Eclipse kicked Eclipse in snout and then they teleported away from the two dogs and the group, Sailor Sun looking outraged at the two Apocalypse Scouts.

"Stop playing with our emotions!" She said very slowly through clenched teeth. She walked over to Sailor Spica. "Are you alright?" She asked in a much softer tone.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry Jessica" she said as she cried again.

"Jessica?" Sailor Eclipse asked her eyes blinking for a bit as she looked at her cousin then at Sailor Spica.

"You have no need to be sorry. Whatever they made us say it isn't true." Sailor Sun said with a pat to her friends back.

Sailor Eclipse's eyes widened for a bit, "Jessy?" she said softly before she turned to Malice, "we need ta go - now!" she said to her friend who nodded.

Sailor Sun stood up and looked at the two dark senshi.  She didn't even have a chance to say anything to either Sailor Eclipse or Sailor malice.

Without a word they vanished into thin air, Sailor Shaula being the only one who had been close enough to hear the nickname Tasha had given her cousin long ago .

Brooke watched her friends go home before her eyes unfocused. *TAKAI!!!!!* She screamed over and over again.

"Oww!!* He said as he appeared behind her rubbing his head.

*What did I do?* he asked her.

"Tell me about Sailor Eclipse and her little band of senshi now!" She demanded as she looked at him, here body was tense and she was breathing deeply.

"Alright but you'll want to sit down for this one" he told her.

"Well there is nowhere to sit around, can we go to your place?" She asked.

He nodded and they vanished in a flash and reappeared in his room, "what do you want to know?" he asked her.

"Everything." Brooke simply replied. "Or at least as much as you are willing to tell me."

"They were all angry before my father had De'mitri recruit them and give them their powers, Eclipse was the first and she was very angry, both sides of her still are" he began.

"Both sides?"

He nodded, "her reborn side's angry at your friend Jessica for not being there for her when she needed it the most or something." He said.

** So Tasha is Sailor Eclipse, they are one in the same. ** Brooke thought to herself.

"Yes they are,” he told her.

"Stop doing that!" Brooke said angrily.

"Doing what?" he asked innocently.

** You know very well what you are doing it because you know what I am thinking right now! ** Brooke shot back.

He smiled then kissed her, *sorry* he said as he looked at her.

Brooke pouted then kissed Takai back. "You have this weird thing about you."

"And that is?"

"I can seem to stay angry at you." She replied as she snuggled into his muscular chest.

He hugged her to him and smiled a bit, "and the rest of Tasha's little gang are the other Apocalypse Scouts, well all but two of them - those two are my sisters." He said honestly.

"Are you serious! That can't be good!" Brooke said wit ha shake of her head.

He shrugged, "actually I think it is good, I mean what would happen if Tasha had to lie to her friends all the time?" he asked her.

"It'd kill her."

"True, but how did your sisters end up being senshi? Aren't they demons like you?"

He chuckled, "their not Senshi they just had their powers binded and roamed the earth for many years."

"Oh I see." Brooke said somewhat embarrassed.

He chuckled a bit then hugged her, "we all make mistakes." He pointed out and she smiled a bit before poking him for peeking into her mind again.

Eclipse nuzzled her as the two walked alone along the street. "We'll find her princess," he promised her.

"What if she is lying in a ditch somewhere half dead?" Jessica asked as she passed by a flooded ditch.

He blinked, as he looked up at her then blinked again. "That was her journal that you were reading wasn't it?" he asked her.

Jessica nodded her head. "She was there before, what is to say she hasn't gotten herself into that kind of situation again?"

He looked at her curiously, "what did you find out?" he asked her.

"Things that I never thought possible of Tasha. She has been raped, she has sold her body, done drugs and drinks way too much."

He nuzzled her gently, "I'm so sorry princess" he said as he looked up at her with sad eyes.

"Should I even try anymore? She just seems to be giving up and she doesn't take any help I offer."

For a moment he paused, "I think you should, she never would have run away if you didn't get to her." He told her.

"I should what? Give up on her?"

"No, heavens no Princess, I think you should keep trying" he told her honestly.

Jessica sighed. "Well where to now my faithful bloodhound?"

He frowned as he pointed towards a small house on the edge of town and they both saw two motorcycles - Tasha's and Bianca's.

"Oh Eclipse what do I do? Should I just watch and see if she is all right. Maybe she is happier here." Jessica said suddenly getting very nervous.

He nuzzled her gently, "go over there and ring the doorbell and see what happens" he told her.

Jessica took a deep breath and walked up the path to the front door. She lifted her hand and pressed in the doorbell, and waited.

"Whose dere?" Tasha asked in a tired, drunken voice.

"Tasha? It's me Jessy." Jessica said through the door.

"Jessy?" Tasha said meekly before she turned to run back upstairs and cry, she'd hurt her cousin when she had become Sailor Eclipse.

"Tasha?" Jessica called as she heard the footsteps going up the stairs she slowly swung open the door.

"Lemme da hell alone!" a muffled voice said as Tasha fell onto the bed Bianca had given her and began to cry.

Jessica slowly walked up the stairs and followed the sobs. "Tasha I just want to make sure that you are alright."

"I ain't!" she said as she angrily wiped the tears from her eyes then grabbed for her flask.

"Is there anything I can do Tasha? Mom, Dad, Hannah and Jon are worried sick about you."

"No they ain't" Tasha said as she tried to gather up courage.

"Yes they are! How do you know anyway! You haven't been there to see them have you?" Jessica demanded.

She flinched and looked away.

"Please Tasha, look at me."

Tasha looked away from her as Eclipse trotted up the stairs, "just lemme alone Jessica" she pleaded, not wanting to look at her cousin's face, knowing that she'd beaten her up.

"Please Tasha, everyone is so worried. They need to see that you are alright. Mom has said that she will give you more space if that is what you want." Jessica made clear.

"Just lemme alone," she pleaded hugging her knees to her chest.

"No Tasha I won't now and I never will." Jessica stated.

She looked up at her cousin, her jade green eyes meeting her cousin's. "Just go."

Jessica stared back with her bright blue eyes. "No, I won't Tasha. Even if you push me away for the rest of my life, even if you beat me and demanded me to stay away I won't."

She flinched upon hearing the last part, "already did" she said more to herself then to Jessica.

"Don't worry about it, it is just a bruise."

She looked at her cousin before picking up the medallion beside her, should she tell her cousin? She thought to herself.

"Can we please try to figure this out Tasha?" Jessica pleaded.

"Figure this out ... SERPENT'S EYE POWER!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs and her transformation to Sailor Eclipse began.

Tasha shouted out her transformation phase as she held her transformation item above her head. Tasha then closed her eyes then the Medallion in her fist became the infamous Serpent's Eye. Her hair was then lifted off of her shoulders. I dark black mist with silver sparkles scattered throughout is appeared and swirled around her.

Then her silver tiara appeared which was set with a row of small opals, which were all similar to the stone in her transformation medallion. The jewels then emitted a blinding flash of silver light that surrounded Tasha sending a chill up along her spine.

Then the swirling mist divided into rings, the rings went around her body moving upward as they spun around her body. The body suit of her uniform then appeared. And the bow came out of the heart in the center of her chest.

Mist floated around her feet forming boots. Then more dark mist went around her arms forming her gloves. Soon afterward the black mist dotted with silver sparkles went around her waist forming her skirt.

At that point an unseen wind picked up the mist began to swirl around her violently. The mist got thicker and thicker until it circled around Tasha blocking her from view. When the mist faded away and Tasha's hair slowly dropped back resting on her shoulders. And Sailor Eclipse was reveled fully transformed. She did her transformation pose. 

"Heyas cous" she said a bit sadly.

"Tasha, your Sailor Eclipse!" Jessica said in disbelief as she looked at her cousin in shock and astonishment.

"And your Sailor Sun" her cousin said sadly as she looked at Jessica and Eclipse.

Jessica nodded as she pulled out her transformation medallion and held it in her hand. Eclipse looked at the dark senshi for a moment in shock.

"Now go away" she said as she de transformed, looking away not wanting to talk to Jessica - not after what she had done.

"Tasha I told you that I won't." Jessica said firmly, trying to reason with her cousin, there just had to be a way to save her cousin from the darkness and despair that she was feeling.

"Just leave me alone" Tasha pleaded sadly.

"Princess?" Eclipse spoke up looking at Tasha, "your cousin is worried about you and rightly so." He told her.

"Well loudy freakin' da" Tasha said sarcastically, "I'm not fine nor will I ever be fine, the only times I feel alive is when I'm the big bad girl that I am now, and when I'm fighting or when I'm spending time with Skorr." She said angrily.

"Isn't there anything else you can do that is not illegal?" Jessica asked.

She shrugged, "I could sell my body again" she said before Jessica looked at her in concern and she saw her notebook.

"Ohh you read it" she said as she looked at the ground again.

"Please Tasha, there has to be something that you enjoy doing that isn't hurting yourself or others."

She looked away again, "SKORR" she screamed and instantly Skorr appeared from out of thin air, besides her holding her, eyes warily trained on Jessica.

Skorr hissed as he hugged Tasha, "begone - you have no right to hurt her" he ordered Jessica.

"How am I hurting her? I am trying to help her!" Jessica shouted angrily.

Tasha flinched while Skorr glared at her protectively. "You're no better then your mother Queen Solarity of the Sun Kingdom," he hissed angrily. "She banished me and Ravina tried to kill herself once over it - after she killed your mother."

"How dare you speak about my mother like that!" Jessica was furious. "I am trying to help Tasha not banish her for crying out loud!"

"It's true" Tasha said quietly as she looked at the ground. "I did kill her and I did try, have tried on many occasion to kill myself."

Skorr looked at his mate then hugged her tightly, "shhhhhhh please don't get upset baby." He told her soothingly.

"Tasha, please." Jessica pleaded.

Tasha looked at the ground as Skorr held her protectively. "Leave at once Princess Cassandra," he said as the insanity began to return but he sensed a thought of Tasha's and his mind cleared a bit. "In respect to my mate's wishes I will not kill you here and now, but on the battlefield at another time I may." He said coldly.

Jessica looked from Skorr to Tasha. "I won't give up on you Tasha." Jessica replied as she walked down the stairs with Eclipse at her side.

Tasha sobbed as she rested her head on Skorr's right shoulder, burying her face against his chest as he soothed and comforted her, and before Jessica turned to leave she saw the act and took note of it, maybe there was something aside from the insanity and evil in the demon after all.

*I won't give up on you Tasha, no matter what* Jessica promised herself, watching the demon beside her, seeing what Tasha/Sailor Eclipse saw in him and she smiled a bit. *And I imagine he won't either* she said before she left with Eclipse

****Neatherealm****

Akajun watched Takai looking somewhat angry. "I want them dealt with." He ordered his son who nodded before he turned to Skorr who was holding Sailor Eclipse in his arms, and instantly the fallen elder's expression changed from anger to concern for his daughter-in-law. "You and Sailor Malice will need to find another home, now that Sailor Sun knows where you both are." He said as he tapped two fingers to his chin thoughtfully. "And we need another warrior on the battlefield." He said.

"I've sent Ermac to reawaken the other Apocalypse Scouts and Cherris and Seraphym." Skorr said softly so as not to disturb the sleeping girl in his arms.

His father nodded once, "I want you two to begin the ritual to ressurect your brother Shi-ryuu." He ordered before all the ruthlessness was replaced by the fatherly love he'd had for his family.

As the ruler of the Neatherealm Akajun was ruthless and cold blooded to most, but to his family he was different. They were his legacy, they were made of his flesh, and blood and energy. He loved his children more then anything else including his lust for power, even Kurai-ki fell into that category despite what his green skinned son had done.

He'd felt heartbroken over what his second middle son had done and even over his death at Shi's hands, but honor had demanded that Kura-ki be punished for harming his family.

Sighing he watched his two children vanish before he looked at a crystal image of his entire family and held back the tears that threatened to emerge from his green eyes. Would he get his remaining family killed in his quest for vengeance against those who had done them harm? he pondered as he sat down on his throne.

Eclipse trotted alongside Jessica and nuzzled her reassuringly as she tried to come to terms with the fact that Sailor Eclipse and Tasha were one and the same.

"Eclipse is there anything you can tell me?" She asked hoping that he would have answers for her many questions.

He shook his head, "just be strong Princess, she's angry and she's hurting." He told her.

"Is there anything I can do? After all she is my only blood relative alive." Jessica said, this fact suddenly becoming very real.

 "Try to reach her, she needs to know that you do care." Eclipse pointed out as the other Stellar Scouts arrived - Brooke being the last to do so, none of them aware that Reptile was again spying on them.

Eclipse sighed before he turned to the others, how was he supposed to say this? He thought to himself before deciding to go for the direct approach. "We found Tasha,” he said slowly.

 "Ohh goody" Madison grumbled before Jennifer silenced her with a glare.

"Tasha had some pretty dark secrets." Jessica said with her head hung low.

"Like what?" Alissa asked.

"Aside from the fact that she's a skanky ho?" Madison asked snidely.

Jessica slapped Madison hard. "Don't say that about my cousin!" She said angrily, then instantly felt bad for hitting her friend.

Madison glared at Jessica. "She is one!" she snapped back.

"Enough!" Kevin said as he looked to Jessica. "Please continue."

Jessica nodded. "Tasha is also Sailor Eclipse." She said in almost a whisper.

"What?" the other Stellar Scouts asked in astonishment.

"Figures, they act soo much alike" Madison said.

Jennifer butted Madison with her shoulder. "Stop it." She said for only Madison's ears.

Madison glared but said nothing, "how much you want to bet Sailor Malice is that Bianca witch?" she asked.

"You are most likely right about that, and I am starting to think that the rest of Tasha’s gang are the rest of the Apocalypse scouts."

"Figures" Madison said in disgust, "wonder if the rest of them are street girls." She asked before Jennifer glared at her and Jessica began to cry.

"Madison stop it!" Jessica said angrily. "I don't need you acting like this. Just because you don't like her doesn't me you have to voice your opinion about her to her own darn cousin!"

Madison flinched for a bit, none of the Scouts seeing Sailor Malice who had been chanting vigorously.

"Their love for each other now turns to hate." She said as she slit her right wrist and blood fell onto the ground before she poured a strange liquid over the wound and the blood on the ground and the Stellar Scout’s eyes all glowed green.

And they began to argue amongst each other.

"Stop this fighting" Brooke said and Malice glowered a bit, why wasn't she being affected this time? She pondered.

"Madison you just say rude things about others to hide your own dislikes about yourself!" Jessica yelled at her friend.

"Jessica? Madison stop now" Brooke said before Jennifer began to argue with her.

"Why don't you just butt out Brooke? You are always hiding behind your shy attitude!" Jennifer remarked snidely.

Brooke looked hurt before she backed away from Jennifer and Allisa who was also acting mean.

"You _always_ have to butt in Brooke, evem when you are being talked to!" Jennifer said meanly.

*Ohhhh how I want to rip her throat out* Takai said through his link with Brooke, *and I don't mean your friends.*

 *I mean Sailor Malice - she's gone too far.*

*What do you mean?* Brooke asked confused.

 *She's put another spell on your friends and is playing them.*

* How do I end it? * Brooke asked.

*You would have to transform then find her and well make her lose concentration while she's performing the spell, ie you'd have to fight her.*

*Fine I will!* Brooke held out her transformation medallion.

 He grinned in her mind as she did, *I love fighting you* he told her.

 Sailor Malice continued chanting before she saw a bright flash and groaned.

 "Ohh great" she said as Sailor Shaula began to transform.

"Why don't you leave my friends alone for once!"

Sailor Malice turned then looked at her, "'cause they ain't makin' it easier fer Sailor Eclipse" she said in an angered yet calm voice.

'Oh yes, they are going to let Sailor Eclipse walk all over them." Sailor Shaula shot back.

Sailor Malice glared at her, "she's got enough problems as it is, an' ya'all the enemy" she said as she got into a fighting stance.

 Malice looked at Sailor Shaula then looked at her, "wanna make a go now lille girl?" she asked with a smirk on her face.

"Sure, why not." Sailor Shaula said as she too got into a fighting stance.

"Ya know ya can't win."

"You think that if you like." Sailor Shaula shot back with a sly smile.

"Ahh'm better then ya air" Sailor Malice said before she teleported then appeared behind Sailor Shaula, who turned before Sailor Malice could even blink and grabbed her arm then flipped her onto her back.

"Like I said, you can think that I am not good if you want." Sailor Shaula took a few steps back so that Sailor Malice wouldn't be able to jump up and kick her.

Malice flipped up then growled angrily, how the hell had Sailor Shaula been able to anticipate her move like that? She thought to herself.

 Brooke meanwhile had also been wondering about that.

*Takai?* She asked quickly.

*Yes?*

*What was that?* She asked as she yet again managed to get away from Sailor Malice's attack.

*As the link grows stronger you and I can sense each other's moves, auras and fighting styles. In a sense your feeling my thoughts on how to go about fighting her.*

 *And you are acting accordingly* he explained.

 Sailor Malice growled then flipped into the air and hurled a ball of pink energy at Sailor Shaula.

Sailor Shaula almost wasn't able to dodge the attack and got a few singe marks on her uniform. *So this is a good thing right?*

*Pretty much* he told her, *I'm not sure what else the link will do, for all I know you could begin to use energy based attacks like I or my brother or the rest of my family and my father's forces do, you could also start getting the best of both worlds, the strength and speed that I have yet with a soul to keep things in check.*

 *So is there anything that could go . . . bad?"

 *Not that I know of* he told her, *then again no demon here has ever claimed a human before unless you count Skorr and Shi, Skorr well he claimed Tasha, and Shi? He claimed Sailor Scourge aka Kat.*

*Really?* Sailor Shaula asked surprised, she was still dueling sailor Malice who was getting very angry.

"Stand still!" Sailor Malice snarled before she did a roundhouse spin kick that caught Sailor Shaula unaware, neither of them noticing that the spell had been taken care of already and the other Stellar Scouts were recovering from Sailor Malice's spell.
