He took a step back as if to leave before she put a hand on his shoulder

"Where are you going? You just can't leave." Brooke asked confused, thinking that she did something wrong.

He turned to her then smiled a bit, *no you didn't do anything wrong, just I have to go before your friends find out about this, my brother will probably approve but I doubt your friends will.*

"About what? What did you do to me?" Brooke asked becoming very worried as she put her hand to her neck.

*I-i-i-i-i clai-claim-claimed you* he said in an embarrassed tone.

"Claimed me? Why, why are you so embarrassed?" She asked as she cocked her eyebrow.

He looked at her, *wouldn't you be embarrassed if you claimed someone for the first time, even though it was wrong?*

*Especially since a claim well, i-it lasts for life. It's the demon equivalent of marriage.*

"I'm married to a demon?" Brooke said out loud. "I'm not even seventeen yet." She could feel herself start to go faint.

He grabbed her and looked around, grateful for the fact that no one could hear them, as he looked around he kissed her, "I need to go, but I will be here later on, I promise."

Brooke nodded. "When?" She asked softly.

*When you are ready to see me, just call to me through this bond.*

Nodding again Brooke smiled. *I will, but what do I say to the others? Will they know?*

*Not unless you tell them, they'll just think I tried to drain you I guess* He said before his image morphed into that of the demon, "are you really not frightened of me?"

"Or disgusted by my looks?"

"You appearance does not scare me and I am far from disgusted." Brooke ran her hand carefully across his face, a smile on her face the entire time.

He looked at her then smiled and kissed her deeply, *then I will be back my lady.*

*And I shall wait.*

He vanished in a flash of fire as did the others, Motaro being the last as he threw a locker at Sailor Sun.

Sailor Sun looked around. "Why do they do that?" She asked as she looked around at the fellow senshi's faces. She noticed that Sailor Shaula was nowhere to be seen. "Has anyone seen Brooke?" She asked worried.

"I'm here" she said as she walked out of the other room, somewhat in a daze.

"Where were you? Are you alright?" Sailor Pollux asked as she walked over to her friend.

She nodded, "think so" she said before they noticed the bite marks on her neck, "last thing I remember is Takai slamming me into a locker then nothing else" she said, hating that she had to lie.

"Are you sure you are alright? Hose look like nasty bite marks. Did you loose much blood?" Jennifer asked concerned.

She shook her head, "they look worse then they are" she said, "the bleeding's already stopped."

"That's good." Sailor Spica said. "I suppose we should all get out of here. The cops will be here soon."

Brooke nodded, feeling more then a bit confused, "what was Skorr up to?" she asked them.

"Trying to destroy more lives I guess. One never knows, luckily Sailor Eclipse wasn't with him this time."

Brooke nodded as she detransformed, "where do you think she was?"

"Don't know? Maybe she only has so much power and can only battle once in awhile." Sailor Spica suggested.

She nodded as they left, then shook her head as they noticed Tasha and Bianca before Tasha threw a brick at a convenience store and then went inside and began stealing stuff.

"Oh great! My cousin has just caused a federal offence!" Jessica said with a sigh.

Brooke shook her head as Tasha and Bianca quickly left the store, with money in their pockets.

"What should we do? I can't report my cousin!" Jessica said angrily.

Brooke frowned, before Alissa broke in.

"I say just let them be, maybe they will get caught and learn their lesson. Whatever you do Jessica don't give her a lecture."

Brooke turned and looked at her for a moment then shook her head as Madison watched in disgust.

"I don't know why you bother to stick up for her! She isn't worth it!" Madison said angrily as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Brooke looked at her friend sadly, "we're talking about someone whose part of Jessica's family."

"I don't care who's family she is from, she isn't nice to me so why should I be nice to her?" Madison shot back.

"Why? Because we aren't in the third grade Madison! Grow up! Forgive and forget!" Jennifer said.

Brooke looked over at Jessica, who had remained silent during the whole tirade, "you okay?" she asked her friend.

Sighing Jessica turned to Brooke. "I just don't understand why she acts the way she does. It is almost like she is a completely different person."

Brooke hugged her friend; "maybe you should ask her to do something, like music or something. I mean she seemed to like singing."

"I suppose I could, but I don't think she will join the band or anything. Any suggestions Brooke? You seem to be on the right track."

She shook her head, "find something that she likes and try to get to know her better when she's dropped her act I guess."

"I suppose. Can any of you guys play an instrument?" Jessica asked suddenly getting an idea.

"I can play the piano." Alissa admitted.

"Umm I can sort of play the saxophone" Brooke said nervously.

"Why don't we try to put some sort of a band together? We can invite Tasha and Bianca too."

Brooke nodded albeit nervously, there was still the whole thing with Takai that bothered her, what was she to do.

"Hey what's wrong Brooke, you look kind of pale." Alissa pointed out.

"Huh? Ohh just tired I guess, I mean it seems like we're fighting Skorr, Takai and the others non stop, and they never actually seem to try and kill us. It's like their toying with us or waiting for something."

"My guess is waiting for something." Jennifer said thoughtfully.

"That's the thing though, waiting for what?" Brooke asked.

"What's more important then killing us?" she asked slowly.

"I don't know, obviously they are in control of when the act. They have Akujun for some sort of leader don't they?" Madison asked.

Brooke nodded before the girls blinked as it slowly dawned on them, what the demons were waiting for.

"Oh! They...they are going to free him! That can't be good!" Jessica said alarmed.

Brooke and the others nodded, while she felt someone laughing in her mind.

*Very good, you've figured out what me and brother are up to.*

*Pretty smart, and cute and well you know the rest* he said with a blush.

*Huh? What, that is going on, Takai? Why can I hear you?*

*Because our minds are linked.*

The girls noticed that Brooke's eyes suddenly became unfocused, as she appeared to be staring off into space.

*So you always know what I am thinking?* She asked alarmed.

He chuckled, *pretty much, then again it goes both ways. You can feel well all the emotions I have, all the things I am thinking and so on.*

*All the time? or only when I choose?*

*All the time, though it's better when we're together.*

"Brooke? Brooke? Are you okay?" Jessica asked, she was right in her friends face waving her hand trying to get her friend’s eyes to focus.

*Uhh you need to get back, your friends are talking to you* he said with a smile, "be seeing you tomorrow.*

*Okay* She replied as her eyes became focused once again. "Oh I'm sorry, I was err, just thinking about the enemy."

The others nodded as they headed for their homes.

*In more ways then one right?* Takai asked with a wink.

*Takai, this is still a little weird to me. * Brooke replied.

*So's having a brother whose mentally insane, save for when he's around Sailor Eclipse.*

* How did he meet Sailor Eclipse? *

*And I know that you have your share of problems, but you are strong.*

Takai shrugged and for some reason she could even see him in her mind, he was apparently beating on a punching bag, training. *Well about a few days before her mother was banished, she called upon a spell and summoned him from the Neatherealm.*

* So did they, did they have feelings towards one another like we have? *

*Probably more so. They've known each other for a long time* he said truthfully, *I mean yes I feel something for you, and you for me, we just don't know how deeply we feel.*

* Will the feelings get stronger? What is to become of our relationship? * Brooke asked as she walked down the street towards her home with a blank face.

"Why not ask me directly?" he asked as he appeared behind her and she jumped a bit.

"Don't do that! I don't have the nerves!" Brooke said startled. A smile came to her face though, she was glad to see him.

He winked, "just testing your reflexes" he said as she noticed that he was in the form she'd seen earlier.

"Why do you take different forms?" Brooke asked as she reached for his hand.

He blinked then took his hand, "because I'm not human Brooke, nor can I ever be. Humans mostly run at the site of demons, some fight back, and well my other somewhat human form is still not normal."

"Plus I wanted to be here with you" he said.

"But if you are worried about humans changing you why, why did you claim me?" She asked confused.

He chuckled, "I'm worried about most humans" he said as he gently kissed her on the lips.

"Why not me? What makes me different." Brooke asked as a blush spread across her face, she had never been kissed before Takai had kissed her. She was always so shy.

"Your eyes" he said as he looked at her, "they and your thoughts and emotions tell me I have nothing to fear from you."

"But I am the enemy am I not?"

He looked away for a few moments, "no - you aren't your friends are because they will try to stop us from destroying the bond that holds my father at bay."

"But I will have to do that too. I am part of a team. We work together." She said sadly.

"You could just leave them, I'd ask my father to grant your friends and you immortality."

"But that would mean you would win, people would suffer. I can't let that happen." Brooke felt torn between her friends and love.

He sighed, before he looked at her. "Come with me, I need to show you something" he said.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"To my home" he said as he took her hand and he led her through a portal, and into hell...

It felt cold for them both as they shot through the portal which glowed, blue then red then a dark black before turning to a blood red color and then she was falling, falling only to be caught by Takai who was in his demon form.

As she looked around she saw how red, dark and forbidding the scenery around them was, cries of anguish filled her ears, and she saw rivers of molten lava.

"Why?" She asked as she turned around in circles, trying to take everything in as well as trying to block everything out. "Why here?"

"Because this is my home, and I can't go not for more then a few months before being pulled back or ceasing to exist."

"It's worse for my father, for Skorr well his punishment was becoming insane."

"Why do you have to live here? Do you actually like this?"

He shook his head, "I have to because I'm the son of the Akajun, our entire family is bound here, save for my sisters Cheriss and Seraphym."

"Where are they?" Brooke asked as she felt herself drawing closer to Takai's strong frame.

"On earth, they don't have their memories yet, nor do they have a fraction of the powers they had once before."

"How are our lives supposed to work? Together I mean. I want to be with you, but I can't betray my friends."

He nodded, "and how am I supposed to break my father out of his prison and keep my family and myself from going slowly insane by being trapped here, we don't have a clue as to either," he said sadly. "But we can sure as hell try can't we?"

"Yes try, but what will happen if your father is freed?" She asked as she looked around, she could feel eyes on her and it was making her nervous.

He shrugged, "he'll take over and imprison the other elder gods here, and let the demons roam free instead of having all of us confined because we're lower beings."

"So would that mean the human race would be wiped out?"

He shook his head, "not necessarily, my father knows the value of extermination, it's costly and it has lastly repercussions, maybe subjugate but not extermination, the one who we have to watch out for is Skorry, we know he's not to far gone but he's still somewhat unpredictable and uncontrollable."

"So is it possible for demons and humans to live side by sides without a war starting out? What if the demons were to take human form and live normal lives?" Brooke suggested.

He shrugged, "there are other things aside from demons, take Motaro for example he's a centaur, a spell won't work for him. And Reptile? Well it won't work for him either or his race, which we plan to resurrect."

"Then could you find another place, maybe another planet for them to call their own?"

He shook his head, "you mean other realms and the only problem with that is their all crowded with other life forms. Plus Earth is, or was the home for Reptile's race for a very long time."

"What happened to them al then?"

"They were banished from the earth to another realm, said realm and race were wiped out by a being named Shao Khan."

"Who would do something like that?!"

"He did, when they refused to serve him, they never even tried to fight back. Reptile is the last of his race."

"That is really sad." Brooke said as she hung her head. "Would a human be able to live here? This can't be what the entire place looks like does it?"

He nodded sadly, "all red and dark though the realm of lost souls is better if you don't mind the giant spiders."

Brooke shuddered. "No, I mind spiders very much, and I am sure that I would mind giant spiders even more."

He chuckled then grinned, "You have just got to see Arack."

"But I really don't like spiders." Brooke said as she clung more tightly to Takai.

Takai grinned as Brooke looked up to see a huge black spider with fur and fangs above them. "Meet Arack" he said as he pet one of the spider's legs.

*It's going to eat me; it's going to eat me. * Brooke thought repeatedly in her mind. Her eyes were tightly closed and her face was burred in Takai's chest.

"He's not going to eat you" Takai said as he pet the spider, which purred and hissed. "He's got the mentality of a puppy dog."

"Really?" Brooke asked doubtful as she turned to look up at the spider.

He nodded as he pet the spider, "or a giant cat."

"Are you sure it won't hurt me?" Brooke asked as she carefully and slowly reached out her hand.

He nodded and the huge spider cackle/purred as she pet it's leg.

"So are there many spiders and critters down here?" Brooke asked as she kept a careful eye on the spiders eight all the time.

"Some dragons, fire lizards as well."

"Really? What are they like?"

He shrugged, "just really big lizards that shoot fire, though the hydras are fun to be around."

"I don't know if I feel brave enough to go meet them today." Brooke admitted. "Do you mind if we go somewhere less..." Brooke didn't know what to say to describe the place she was in.

He nodded once and the two of them vanished and reappeared in a small apartment.

"It's a room near the college campus, most humans are weak minded, the people here didn't mind handing me a large amount of money, nor did they mind handing over the key to this place" he said with a wink.

"What did you do? You didn't hurt anyone did you?" Brooke asked, concern in her voice as she walked around the apartment.

"No, just tricked the ex tenants into moving for me." He said with a laugh

"Oh, so what do you do at the collage?" Brooke asked softly as she sat down on a couch.

He shrugged, "history, science that sort of thing. I also scour the place for souls that I can steal."

"Why do you need to steal souls?"

"As you guessed my father is imprisoned, we basically need tons of souls which we then absorb, adding more power to ourselves."

"When my father has over a few thousand souls he will be powerful enough to break the bonds that have imprisoned him and then the portals will open and I an my family will be free, no more hiding in the shadows for us."

"How many do you have now?" Brooke asked softly.

"Nearly three hundred" he said before he frowned. He could feel her thoughts and emotions. She felt distressed over this.

"Do you want to talk about this?" he asked her in concern which surprised her.

"Well yes an no." Brooke replied as she hung her head and pretended to be interested in the creases in her pants.

 He sighed then gently took her hands in his own, "what's wrong?"

"I don't know, I just feel like I am going against my friends, being here with you. It feels right, but at the same time it feels wrong." Brooke explained the best she could.

 He nodded in understanding, "what if we were seen together, while I am in human form?"

"Well I think that is how you’re going to have to be." Brooke paused. "Have you thought of a history? I know my friends will start asking questions about you, they always do when someone new comes around."

 He nodded, "got one covered. Already met the Daystar Knight."

"Oh really?"

He nodded, "could smell his pure human soul."

"Please don't hurt him." Brooke begged.

 "I won't unless it is in actual combat,” he said, and she smiled in relief.

"Well then tell me a bit about your "human" self so that I can easily answer questions about my boyfriend." Brooke said as eh face flushed.

"Boyfriend hmmm?" he asked before he grinned then leaned over and kissed her deeply.

Tasha rolled her eyes as Jessica began to tell her about how stealing was wrong. "But is it Tasha, what if you get caught and go to jail?" She asked, she knew Tasha wasn't even listening. Tasha just shrugged, and idly began to play with her lighter.

"Alright obviously I am talking to a brick wall. Why don’t we just go out tonight, you and me. We can go out to a movie or to this little karaoke bar."

She shrugged again, "I guess."

"Good, go get dressed. I promise I won't nag at you all night." Tasha nodded then went and got dressed.

:: An hour later ::

 Tasha inhaled the smoke as she took in the movie theatre.

"So what movie do you want to go see? Anything in particular?" Jessica asked.

"Anything that has someone getting his or her throat ripped out,” she said with a shrug.

"How about this." Jessica suggested as she pointed to the latest horror flick.

She smiled, "how much blood and gore is in it?"

"A lot I am sure. Lets just go and watch it." Jessica bought herself and Tasha some goodies and they paid for their tickets. Tasha nodded, and when neither the ticket taker nor Jessica were looking, she took the man's wallet, placed it in her leather pants and followed her cousin.

The pair found their seats and didn't say a word to each other while they waited for the movie to begin.

Tasha inhaled the smoke from her cigarette before Jessica took it from her. "Not in here Tasha, wait until the movie is over."

She looked at her cousin like she was about to start an argument with her, thought better of it then pulled out the ticket taker's wallet and began to go through it.

Jessica figured it best not to say anything, the lights dimmed and the preview's began.

:: The lobby ::

Skorr reappeared alone and grinned as he grabbed the ticket taker, snapped his neck and then began to hurl fireballs at various places all around him people screamed as the demigod attacked, he moved like a force of nature blasting everything in his path, not caring about anything. Laughing the entire time.

Jessica stood up and turned to Tasha. "I'll be right back. I need to use the washroom." She lied.

Tasha nodded, waited for her cousin to leave, before the amulet around her neck glowed, and she collapsed on the floor, before transforming into Sailor Eclipse and vanishing in the shadows.

 "Wheeeeeeeeeee this is fun!!!" Skorr said with a laugh.

"I am Sailor Sun! And in the name of the Sun I shall punish you!"

"Ohhh" he said with a grin, "hi how are you little child?" he asked as he began to talk down to Sailor Sun like she was a child.

"I'm not a child, and you have no right being here!" She shot back angrily.

He teleported over to her, then ruffled her hair like a child, grinned, picked her up and threw her into a wall. Sailor Sun stood up. "You have a very sick, twisted and warped mind you know that?"

 His grin grew, "ahh yes it's been that way for many a century" he said with a wink.

"Figures," She said as she rolled her eyes and quickly fired an attack at the demon.

He sidestepped the attack then blasted her with fire. Turning Sailor Sun fired another attack and summons her Sun Fire Sabre. It was then that she was kicked in the back by Sailor Eclipse who grinned, "now, now."

 "It's not nice to use weapons when no one else is."

"If he doesn't fight with fair rules, I don't see why I should." Sailor Sun shot back.

"Then neither should I" she said as she spun kicked Sailor Sun in the stomach, her foot upside her cousin's stomach as she began to repeatedly kick it

Sailor Sun gasped in pain before she grabbed Sailor Eclipse's foot then twisted it, Eclipse screamed then spun kicked her with the other one before getting up and moving away from Sailor Sun.

 Skorr took a protective step in front of Sailor Eclipse and snarled, his eyes glowing. Skorr hissed again, his humanity leaving him. All he knew was that the girl with red hair had harmed his mate, and now she would die. He roared angrily and charged Sailor Sun.

 Sailor Sun decided it was good time to start running, she ran from the main lobby and up the stairs to the balcony where parties were usually held, she threw everything she good to try to slow down the crazed demon. But Skorr seemed to continue to close the gap between them.

 He roared, his eyes blank as he smashed through things like a train he chased her, snarling, saying nothing as he tried to grab her.

 "SKORR STOP!!" Sailor Eclipse shouted at her mate.

 He stopped then hissed, "mate hurt."

 She smiled a bit, "I'll be okay love but we need to go" she said as she teleported alongside him then glared at Sailor Sun.

"You do that again cous and I won't stop him." She said before she kissed Skorr, and they both vanished for the moment.

Sighing Sailor Sun de-transformed, called 911 and slowly made her way back to her movie. It was when she got back that she noticed her cousin on the flood, unconscious.

"Tasha?! Are you alright?" She asked as she ran to her cousin’s side and pulled her up on the chair.

She groaned a bit then shrugged it off. "I'm fine."

"You sure? What happened?" She asked.

"Just felt tired" she said before she noticed some cops and then shrugged, "I'm gonna go home" she said.

"I'm coming with you encase you fait again." Sailor Sun said as she held onto her cousin’s arm as they walked down the stairs.

 Tasha looked at her coldly, "I don't need a baby-sitter."

"Tasha I am just worried, get off your high cloud for once and accept some help."

At that Tasha flipped Jessica off, "after you get off yours, I don't need anybody, not you, not your friends, not Kevin, not my friends, I don't need anybody."

 "‘Cause all I do is survive"

 "An' i's better that way"

"Fine then Tasha if you survive so well, I wonder how you will do in jail after I tell the cops over there that you broke into the corner store and stole a mans wallet?"

Tasha glared at her cousin then slapped her hard. "Screw you" she said as she turned to leave.

"Tasha wait!"

 Tasha turned back to her and glared at her angrily, "why? So ya can sell me out to da cops?" she demanded.

"NO, because you are throwing your life away!" Jessica said angrily.

"Screw you!" she said as she started the cycle then drove off, angrily.

He smiled as he watched her go, "will you be back?" he asked her.

She nodded her head. "I will try, but you have to remember, I have two lives as well." He smiled, then his eyes glowed and a perfect sapphire appeared before her.

"What is this?" She asked with wide eyes.

"A gift" he said with a smile.

 "Where did you get it?" Brooke asked as she continued to eye the gem.

 "Made it" he said with a smile.

“How?" She asked as she gently touched the stone.

 He chuckled, "like I said to your friend Sailor Sun, I'm not a mere demon."

 "I'm basically a full demigod, we can make things with our minds and all, though it's very, very painful."

"Then why? If it hurts you, please don't do it." Brooke pleaded as she ran over to Takai.

"I wanted to" he said with a smile. Brooke smiled and just looked at him for a moment before she kissed him deeply. With that she turned and ran from the apartment, sea green hair trailing. He smiled as he watched her go, "and it made you smile" he said as he vanished in a portal heading for the Neatherealm

:: Neatherealm ::

Skorr and Takai bowed before their father, Motaro, Reptile, Rain, Scorpion and Reickon Tou also bowing before him. The fallen elder grinned, "find the Apocalypse scouts, I want them reawakened for the coming battle." He ordered.

 "And the amulet?" Reickon Tou asked.

 "Keep an eye on the Stellar Scouts, I want them dealt with before they become a problem" he ordered the lizard man.

 "Yessssss my massssssster" Reptile said as he vanished.

 "Skorr? You will take Motaro and raid one half of Halifax, Takai you will take Scorpion and raid the other half." The four nodded then vanished.
