Chapter # 5 – Tasha's Nightmares : Skorr's Vengeance  –

There was a crunch as Reptile picked up the now dead bird and ate it, he'd left the Stellar Scout's little meeting a while ago in seach of food. Feathers dropped from his mouth as he chewed on the wing, then burped a little. It wasn't much of a meal but it would suffice for the moment he thought to himself before he smelled an old friend.

"De'mitri" he hissed, "what bringssssss you here?" he asked him.

"Ravina is still alive is she not?" a Russian voice asked as Reptile turned to see a large fruit bat on the ground behind him, "would it not do to have both her teachers here?" he asked Reptile, neither of them seeing Nova who had followed Reptile.

The large Doberman sat in the bushes her head titled towards the talking pair. Trying to take in everything she could. Reptile was very familiar to her, she couldn't remember why though. De'mitri yawned as he looked at his friend, "have you seen the two guardian dogs yet comrade?" he asked the lizard man.

"Yessssssssss" Reptile hissed, "like humansssssss they both think of my race asssssssss jusssssssst killerssssssss" he said with a shake of his head.

De'mitri sighed, "are you sorry for becomming a warrior?" he asked.

Reptile shook his head, "I never will be, though I am ssssssorry for being blinded to Khan'sssssss promisssssesss." Nova got down on her belly and carefully crept closer under the cover of the thick bushes.

De'mitri nodded, "I was sorry that your father died," he said sadly, "Python was a good friend" he stated, before he smiled a bit, "well I'm off, there are many humans who I will enjoy playing tricks on" he said with a chuckle as he jumped up and flew off.

Reptile laughed a bit before he headed back to Sailor Sun's house. His eyes glowed as he vanished from sight right before he arrived at Sailor Sun's home, his tongued flickered in and out as he spied on Sailor Sun who was still talking to her mate Daystar Knight about her cousin

Nova ran as fast as she could to Jessica's home, she knew that reptile would already be there. The demon could be attacking or just spying, either way Nova had to get there.

Reptile hissed slightly, as he watched the couple, *she actssssssss like a child* Reptile thought to himself as he watched Sailor Sun.

Jessica was acting like a child she was pouting and stomping around her room. "I just don't understand it! I have tried everything! Just when I think I'm getting through she goes off the deep end again!"

Reptile hissed in disgust, "how a mere child could even defeat Lord Shi-ryuu isssssss beyond me."

"Try not to get so worked up over it Jessica, please. Just let her be, hopefully she will come around." Kevin said trying to reason with his girlfriend. His image shifted to accompany the tree, much like that of a chameleon, and for a moment she saw his outline, then nothing as his skin adapted to the scenery around himself.

Nova looked around nervously. ** Where did he go? ** She asked herself as she carefully looked around, using her nose and ears as her only guides. Slowly she caught the scent of Reptile in her nostrils, he wasn't making any sounds as he watched silently, and as she walked she noticed that one of the branches had been meshed with another in order to create a makeshift chair that was very well camouflaged.

"Making yourself a little to comfortable Reptile?" Nova asked as she turned watched the spot that Reptile's scent was coming from.

His image rippled then formed and he hissed as he looked at her, "what if I am?"

"Well it is just that you are going through all of this trouble and you might not be around for much longer." Nova pointed out.

He shrugged, "what isssssss life without death to counter it. Besssssssidessssss I already gave my word of honor."

"Now tell me Reptile, what changed you. If I remember correctly, you were one who would rather stop the fighting and not start it."

He growled low in his throat, "and you know thisssssss how?"

"I am a lot older then I look, you know that. I have many more years on me then you do. I know these things." Nova simply replied as if there was no other answer.

He hissed curiously, his tongue flickering in and out, "perhapsssssss you should focussssss more on the fact that I haven't eaten very much and am ssssssssstill hungry."

"I don't think you will like me much, just hard muscle and bones." Nova replied, not being slightly scared. "So please do answer my question."

"Watching my entire race die,” he said slowly.

Nova hung her head in respect. "If you do not mind telling me, what happened? Who did it?"

"Shao Khan, after my father rebelled againssssst him."

"So who do you fight for now?" Nova asked as she sat down on her haunches. "Why go against everything you were taught as a child?"

He blinked then hissed, "lady Nova" he said in recognition.

"Your memory does not fail you young one." Nova said with a dog like smile and a curt nod.

"It doesssss not matter, I sssssserve Lord Akajun and hisssssss family. Becausssssse of hisssssss promissssse to me" he said as he watched then hissed a bit.

"I would have hoped better for you, so would your father." Nova said as she stood up about to leave.

"He didn't fight back and he wasssssss killed for it."

"That was the way of your people. You know that, your father died with a high honor, you will not have that same privilege."

He shrugged, "my father allowed me to be taken into ssssssslavery along with my people, he dessssssservesssssss nothing but contempt."

"Suit yourself young one." With that Nova walked away around to the back do of Jessica's house. He watched then hissed, his cover had been blown. He spat acid at the ground then vanished and left, he needed to find De'mitri.

Tasha walked towards the house late at night, wincing a bit. Viper had dislocated her right arm, before she'd caused his cycle to crash. Slowly she walked over to a tree then slammed her arm into the tree, "ohhhhhhh hell" she hissed in pain before she then walked inside.

Jessica walked into the kitchen in her housecoat. She didn't notice Tasha and walked over to the fridge to get a glass of water. Tasha watched her cousin before she headed for her room, her right hand was probably dripping blood all over the floor at the moment she thought to herself as she sat down on her bed, some of the other bikers had also been pissed at her, and most of that time was hazy as well.

Soon after tasha, Jessica ventured up the stairs glass in hand. She was looking in through Tasha's bedroom door. "Welcome back? Have fun?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah" Tasha said as she bandaged her ribs as well, they were probably cracked again.

"That's good, do you need anything? Money bandages?" Jessica asked trying to be helpful.

"Nah" she said and Jessica blinked in then watched as Tasha taped up her ribs.

"Your sure?" Jessica asked as she leaned up against the doorframe.

"I'm fine, it's not like their broken or anything not like a few weeks ago."

"Oh alright, did you win?"

She blinked wondering why the hell Jessica wasn't acting like she normally did. "If you mean getting five hundred dollars as prize money yeah."

"Congratulations, so how much more do you have to save up before you leave me?" Jessica questioned.

That floored Tasha for a moment and she looked away, "it's not you Jessy" she said referring to her nickname for Jessica. "I don't belong here, I never did" she said softly.

Jessica shrugged her shoulders and walked into her room, closing the door behind her, leaving Tasha to think things over. Tasha watched her go and sighed before she yawned then went to sleep.

:: Across Town ::

The portal flared open and Takai and Skorr stepped out, "nice place. Too bad it's going to be burned to the ground" he quipped as stretched his wings then looked at Takai, "what say you brother? interested in causing some chaos and mayhem?" he asked with a grin.

Takai shrugged, "I guess" he said not liking where Skorr was going with this, his brother seemed to be more insane before.

"Ohh come on Takai, it's not like anyone's going to miss a bunch of stupid screaming kids" his brother said before his eyes glowed and a beam of energy shot forth from his right hand and engulfed the orphanage fires erupted and Skorr grinned, "now this is fun" he said as he watched the children inside scream in terror.

"Let's just get the souls, kill them and leave" Takai stated.

"But it's not as much fun as playing with them first."

"Dad said."

"Ohh he'll get the souls either way" Skorr reassured him.

Takai nodded and watched as Skorr grinned insanely, "yeah fun" he said as he shook his head.

"And I suppose a battle is?" Skorr asked him.

"Better then a slaughter" Takai shot back.

Skorr glared at his brother, "there's no-one here to fight anyways." Skorr pointed out. "Plus my ideas are better then yours baby brother."

“Are not.”

"Are too."

"Are not."

"BOTH OF YOU STOP YOUR FIGHTING THIS INSTANT!" A voice boomed in the clouds.

"Yes dad" they said in unison. They both went in to collect the souls.

Alissa awoke to screams of fright. "What?" She asked as she stumbled out of bed. Walking over to the window she starred in shock, a good ways down the street where the orphanage where flames erupted from windows and doors. "Oh no!"

The children screamed as the demons attacked, the screams lessening as their souls were stolen and they died. Sailor Pollux rushed onto the scene and began her attack on the building. The fires slowly died out and children and workers were able to escape.

"Awwwwwww you ruined my fun" a voice called out behind her and she turned to see a huge eight foot tall demon with bat like wings, a tail and arms with several barbs on it. His skin was reddish black and his eyes were neon green.

Takai shook his head as he looked at the other demon, "what drives you to slaughter people?" he asked his brother.

"Ummmmmmm tormented childhood" Skorr quipped.

"We both had the same childhood Skorr" Takai said.

"Uhhhhhhh it's fun?" the demon, Skorr asked his brother who sighed.

"Well try having with that one" he said as he pointed to Sailor Pollux.

Skorr grinned, "okay" he said as he looked back at Sailor Pollux. "Hi my name is Skorr, I'm going to be ripping your eyes now" he said pleasantly.

"Not if I have anything to do with it!" Sailor Pollux got into a fighting stance. "I am the sailor scout of the storm planet, Pollux, fighting with an un-stop able rage like a hurricane! With the power of the air so beware of the air around you, for I control the north, east, south and west winds!"

Skorr yawned, "you sound like that blowhard Rayden" he said as his eyes glowed then he spat fire out of his mouth at her. The Senshi of the winds skillfully jumped out of harms way, but not without managing to get some scorch marks on her uniform.

Skorr yawned, "away with you filthy beast" he said as he telekinetically threw her a few feet away from him.

Sailor Pollux's body skidded across the pavement. "Now that isn't very fair!" The senshi said as she stood up, blood trickled down her leg from various cuts.

He shrugged, "life ain't fair" he said as he blasted her with lightning.

"Pollux Storm Tornado . . . . . SPIN!"

Sailor Pollux stood with her legs apart. Her hands were clasped across her chest. Her head was bowed and her eyes were closed. Then her eyes snapped open as her neck straightened. She put her hands above her head and a strong wind picked up. Sailor Pollux's hair and uniform blew wildly in the wind. She turned her wrist and a gray tornado came down from above. It surrounded her then she put her hands directly in front of her chest and the tornado spun out towards Skorr.

Skorr jumped up then flapped into the air, he flew over the tornado then dropped in the middle, "wow she knows how to control the weather" he said with a chuckle, "reminds me of Sailor Archais" he quipped.

"Sailor who?" Sailor Pollux asked confused.

"Sorry my secret" he said as he grabbed her then picked her up by the neck and threw her across the street again. Sailor Pollux got up much more slowly this time, blood trickled down her legs and arms.

"Hmmmmmm blood, wonder how her blood'll taste" Skorr said as he jumped right up in front of her and grabbed her then bit into her neck. Screaming in pain Sailor Pollux kicked and thrashed about. Nova came running, the Doberman jumped and bit at Skorr's ankles.

Skorr hissed then threw Pollux away and looked at the dog, suddenly his tail shot out, wrapped around Nova and he began to have it pummel her into the ground, "awwww nice doggy ya wanna play?" he asked sadistically.

"Why can't you just kill them already?" Takai asked in exasperation.

"More fun." Nova whined in pain, Sailor Pollux fired another attack at the demon this time catching him off guard and freeing Nova. He back flipped up then hissed at her, "you know what's better then scaring people? Toying with them. "I think I'll have some fun at your expense" he said before hundreds of small purple circles began to form around him, and he grinned. "Pulse attack" he said as the energy pulsed forward then blasted them both.

Cries of pain where unheard as the energy struck Sailor Pollux and Nova knocking them into a nearby window. Glass shards went everywhere. Skorr chuckled as he towered above them, "well, well, well Nova isn't it? De'mitri told me so much about you" Skorr said fondly.

"What has that little bat told you? I'm sure it was all bad knowing him." The dog said as she struggled to her feet.

"He told me that you and he were friends, how he misses you and all that" Skorr said with a chuckle, "pity that he'll be hurt when I rip out your spine" he said with a grin.

"Skorr stop playing and just kill them already" Takai said angrily, "the other Stellar Scouts could already be on their way and we don't have the time. You want to find Eclipse then we'll need to leave in a hurry!" he snapped.

Skorr blinked as he looked over at his brother, "Ravina's here?"

"Yes she is." Sailor Pollux looked over at Skorr and Takai, carefully taking in their conversation. Nova walked over to see if the Stellar Scout was all right.

Skorr turned back to them both and grinned, "another time perhaps" he said as he dropped a child’s doll before he and Takai vanished from site

Tasha tossed and turned in her sleep, she was dreaming, she was dreaming of running. She was running to something, and as she passed a mirror she stopped, and looked at herself ... she was wearing a dress, she hated wearing dresses. It was also the dress of nobility she thought as she began to run again.

Arriving at a huge palace that looked like it had been completely shattered, she entered the area and yelled something just as a strange diamond glowed then vanished. Hot tears began to fall down her face as she hugged the stone, "don't leave me!" She repeated over and over again as a face, a demonic face which should have frightened her yet didn't came into view, then winked out.

Tasha turned in the dream and looked at a woman who looked similar to Sailor Sun, only she stood regally. "Why?" she screamed as she attacked the other woman.

"I loved him!!!" she said angrily just as she pulled out a sai then stabbed the other woman in the gut before falling down and crying again, just as she pointed the sais at her stomach then stabbed herself.

With that she awoke with a start, tears falling from her eyes. Jessica rushed into Tasha's room. "Are you alight?" Jessica asked as she rushed over and sat on Tasha's bed.

Tasha sobbed a little bit on her cousin's shoulders, memories of that dream and the nightmares of what had happened to her parents and herself going through her mind.

Holding Tasha Jessica tried to think of what to say, but nothing came. So the pair just sat there in silence for a little while. Eclipse came into the room and licked Tasha's hand.

She hugged her cousin, then sobbed. "After mom and dad died, I-I-I ran into some guys and the-they-they ra-r-hurt me" she said as she looked away .

"Oh Tasha, I am so sorry. Is there anything I can do?" Jessica asked hopefully.

She shook her head, "no" she said as she started to pull away but Jessica could tell that she was trying to hide the scare little girl that would probably always be there.

Jessica wasn't about to let her cousin go, Tasha needed a hug, so a hug was what she got. "Come on lets go downstairs and see if there is anything in the freezer." Jessica suggested, she knew that Tasha loved ice cream.

Tasha smiled a bit, "okay" she said, neither of them seeing a bat hanging upside down outside Tasha's window. Pulling out a large tub of ice cream Jessica began to dish rather large chunks of the "Brownie's on the Moon" ice cream into two bowls. "So you had a bad dream huh?"

"Always get them" she said and Jessica noticed an angry shudder, "good thing I didn't get knocked up though" she muttered more to herself

"I tend to have some pretty weird dreams as well. Sometimes I can't really remember them well."

"Good for you" Tasha said angrily, hating herself for even opening up to another person

"Is there anything else I can get you?" Jessica asked as she took small mouthfuls of the ice cream.

Tasha shook her head, "no" she said with a shake of her head, "do you know what the most painful thing was? That there wasn't anything I could do at all." She said honestly.

Jessica hung her head. "Have you ever talked to anyone about it?"

"No" she said as she grabbed her duster then turned to head outside.

"Do you want to?" The red head asked, fearing the worst.

"It's better if I don't" she said as she walked outside then pulled out a cigarette and lit up.

Following Jessica didn't bother to say anything about the cigarette. "Why?"

"Talking leads to me thinking about it, and I don't want to."

"Oh I understand." Jessica said trying to think of what to ask Tasha next.

"It's not something I want to talk about, it's better if I don't deal with it." she said.

"Want to talk about anything else?"

Tasha shrugged, "got a letter from Bi, she's left her dad's 'cause he's been beating on her again. She said somet'in' 'bout comin' here."

"I am sure that we can find you a place to stay. There are lots of people who will take her in. We could sign her up as an exchange student." Jessica suggested.

Tasha shrugged, "you don't know what yer askin', she's more of a hellcat then the rest o' us."

"Oh." Jessica replied, "what about her own place?"

"She hasn't t'ought dat far ahead" she said slipping into her accent.

"Well I am sure that we could find somewhere for her."

"I guess so" she said as she took a drag on her cigerette, "stupid vice principle, she ain't gonna lighten up anytime soon."

"Well maybe, just maybe you should try to be a little bit more well behaved. She is a nice person you just have to get on her good side." Jessica explained.

"I don't do very well wid autority figyas" she said and Jessica frowned in confusion upon hearing her cousin's accent

"Well you have to _try_ something."

She shrugged, "what if I like da way I am?" she asked Jessica

"Well everyone has to change who they are every now and then. I'm not asking you to completely change. Just maybe try acting a little nicer to people who offer you help."

"Dunn need help" Tasha said, "'sides I ain't worth it."

"Now don't you say that. If you weren't worth it then I wouldn’t be standing out here, my parents wouldn't have taken you in and you wouldn't have Kat or the others."

Tasha shrugged, "Kat and de oders are just as screwed up as me."

"None of you are screwed up. Please stop putting yourself down. I know someone who used to do that. it isn't right to be beating yourself down."

"Ohh yeah? who?" she challenged.

"Me."

"Why'd you put yerself down?"

"Because I was never happy with myself. I didn't like the way I looked, or who I was."

Tasha looked at her, "I know I'm attractive, just I hate myself anyways."

Jessica smirked. "Why do you hate yourself? There is so much to love."

"You wouldn't understand."

:: Neatherealm :: 

Takai glared at his older brother, he was starting to wonder if bringing his brother back was a bad idea, so far Skorr had gone on four killing sprees and while they were both demons, Takai felt that a battle was better over a slaughter, plus he was also worried about his brother's mental state. It was clear that their mother's years of abuse had taken their toll on Skorr, idly he wondered if losing Ravina had also had some effect. "We need to talk."

Skorr rolled his eyes, "we're demons we kill and destroy."

"Yes but what you did was on the verge of slaughter, look Skorry I know that you got the worst of what that witch did to you, but she's gone now and we have a mission to complete. Ravina's soul needs to merge with her present day one in order for her to be okay, if we don't merge it she will go insane and kill herself again" Takai pointed out.

Skorr looked at his older brother, "I'll worry about Sailor Sun and Ravina" he said calmly.

Takai shook his head, "you don't have to do everything alone. I'm still here and soon Shi will be back as well" he said looking at his brother imploringly, "just try to control it, we can't let the elders know that your back right now" he said.

"Alright alright I get the message" Skorr said as he grabbed Takai then noogied him.

"GAH!" Takai said as he playfully punched his brother, "stop that!"

"No" Skorr said with a smile, "hell it's good seeing you and dad again."

"Tell that to my head" Takai said with a chuckle, "her house is just up the street. Any ideas?"

Skorr nodded, "you distract her and the Stellar Scouts, I'll go reawaken her memories" he said as De'mitri landed on his right arm, "well?"

"She's gone back into the house" the bat said, "I know where her room is. It shouldn't be too hard. Do you have the ingredients that are needed for the spell?" he asked Skorr who nodded.

We'll meet back here" Skorr said as he and De'mitri vanished.

Takai nodded then summoned forth Scorpion and several demons. "Time to go to work" he said. In no time at the entire small demon army began to attack several nearby houses, people screamed in fear and terror as Takai and Scorpion attacked, knowing that the screams would wake up the Scouts.
