Notes: Thank-you Jason for all the help with the family tree
thing of Shi-ryuu and Kurai-ki!
Tasha
yawned a bit as she walked down the hallway, she hated schools,
they weren't any fun and something bad always happened to her in
them. "Then again it could be because I like starting trouble,"
she said with a smile as she walked past a "No smoking" sign
then took out a cigarette.
Jessica spotted her cousin. "Hey Tasha, come over here, I want
you to meet some of my friends." Jessica called from a picnic
table. Tasha didn't even have a chance to light up.
"Great" she said as she plastered a smile on her face then put
the cigarette away and walked over to the table.
Smiling Jessica stood up beside Tasha. "This is
Alissa John, she is an exchange student from Scotland." Jessica
pointed to the blonde.
"Pleased to meet you Tasha. Jessica has told me
lots about you." The blonde smiled, her Scottish accent very
noticeable.
"Where's her quilt?" Tasha asked in a mock sweet
voice.
Alissa looked somewhat hurt and crossed her arms
angrily. Jessica decided it was best to continue. "This is
Jennifer Allen, she came all the way from California."
"Whoa a surfer dudette" she quipped still in that
mock sweet voice.
Jessica nudged Tasha and shook her head. "This
over here is Brooke Rodgers, she is the only one of us from this
area."
"I hope you like the weather here." Brooke
replied shyly, not knowing what else to say.
"Too outdoors for my taste, I mean it's like the
folks here are small town hicks" she said once again in that
mock sweet voice.
"And lastly this is Madison Connor, she is all
the way from Australia." Jessica was beginning to think inviting
Tasha over was a bad idea.
"Wasn't that once a colony for prisoners?" she
asked in a mildly harsh voice.
"Actually it was, I am surprised that your family didn't go
there. By the sounds of your parents didn't raise you very
well." Madison shot off, her temper getting the better of her.
Tasha
smirked then lashed out with an uppercut to Madison's face, "my
parents are food for the worms" she said coldly then turned and
walked off.
"Tasha
James!" The Vice-principle Mrs. Matheson walked around the
corner when the incident had occurred. "I want you in my office,
but not until you apologize to Ms. Connor."
Tasha
shrugged, "and if I say ... Hell no?!!" she asked as she looked
at the principle then flipped her off.
Mrs.
Matheson's eyes went wide. "Come with me now Tasha, you too
Jessica. We have to get your parents in here to deal with their
niece. I see that her charming attitude doesn't come from you."
Jessica
looked at Tasha with shocked eyes. "I'll be back soon guys."
With that she followed her cousin and the Vice-principle to her
office.
Tasha
shrugged; "like I haven't been in an office before?" she said
snidely.
"Tasha
why do you have to act like this? It is only the first day of
school and already you are in trouble. What is the big deal?"
Jessica asked as Mrs. Matheson opened the door to her office and
ushered the girls in closing it behind herself as she went to
the main office to use the phone.
“Tasha
why did you talk to my friends like that. I am trying to help
you fit in and you act so rude! I wouldn’t be surprised if the
didn’t talk to you again!” Jessica angrily scolded once the door
was closed. “Why?”
"No
reason, just felt like giving everyone one of my greetings" she
said with a yawn, not even bothered by Jessica's outburst. Tasha
idly began to play with her lighter while she waited, she
couldn't wait to see the reactions of her "guardians".
"Really
though, why do you insist on acting like this. What changed you
so much?"
Tasha
shrugged, "umm me not being in San Fran for one, me not wanting
to be told what to do, what to say, what to think and so on and
so forth."
"No one
is trying to tell you what to do. We just want to help you and
be there for you. Please accept the help given to you." Jessica
explained.
"Yeah,
yeah" she said flippantly.
"Please
Tasha. And why do you act different around me then everyone
else?" Jessica questioned as she fully turned her body to face
Tasha's.
"Because
you understand" she said once then looked at the Vice-principal,
"hey el dictator, can I smoke?" she yelled out. Mrs. Matheson
just glared from the main office and went back to her heated
phone conversation.
Not
getting an answer Tasha pulled out a cigarette, lit it up then
smoked calmly, "want one Jess?" she asked Jessica.
Jessica
just glared at Tasha before she took the cigarette threw it on
the floor and stepped on it. "Not inside Tasha, please." Jessica
pleaded through clenched teeth.
"Why the
hell not?" she asked her cousin.
"I don't
want you getting in any more trouble then you already are.
Madison has a bloody nose thanks to you! That is why the hell
not!"
"She
deserved it."
"No she
didn't, and they didn't deserve you adding your rude comments
about you." Jessica pointed out.
"Well
maybe I felt like giving them, ever think about that?" she
asked, "maybe I didn't want to meet them, or be stuck here in
this two bit, hick infested, stupid bloody town, maybe I liked
living on the streets!" she snapped.
"You
cannot be serious! I know you and I know that you would never
pick the streets over a real home." Jessica stressed the last
part. "What more do you want?"
"Umm
actually I would" she said with a look of homesickness in her
eyes, "and I enjoyed it, just me and the four other members of
the gang I was in when that idiot of a social worker had to go
and "save me" from them, please I enjoy doing things my way and
only my way."
"You
were in a gang?!" Jessica cried out in disbelief.
"Yeah,
was fun too" she said with a smile.
"What
kind of gang?" Jessica asked, she didn't want to jump to
conclusions.
"A gang
of biker chicks, me, Kat, Mandy, Lexxy, and Alex."
"I see."
Before Jessica could say more Mrs. Matheson walked in.
"Hello
Dave" Tasha quipped imitating the computer from an old movie
called Space Oddesey 2001, whose name was Hal. Hal tried to kill
every human aboard but "Dave" stopped him first.
"After
having a conversation with Mr. and Mrs. Walker I am to the
conclusion that you will serve detention for the rest of the
week. As well as being on probation from an in school
suspension."
"Oooooooooo
scary" Tasha deadpanned, "like I haven't seen that before.
"Jessica
you can return to your lunch. Thank-you for staying here with
Tasha." Mrs. Matheson thanked. "Tasha come with me, your
punishment starts now and will be during your lunches and after
school for an hour."
Tasha
shrugged, "does the phrase I'll be back ease your conscience?"
she asked snidely.
Mrs.
Matheson rolled her eyes as she escorted Tasha to the detention
hall. Jessica watched as her cousin and Mrs. Matheson walked
down the hallway. Sighing she decided to go see how Madison's
nose was.
Takai
yawned in boredom as he entered the collage, registered then
walked past a couple of students to his room, idly he wondered
how much more of being cooped up with the disgusting humans he'd
have to put up with, either before he snapped, or Reikon found
Skorr.
He
smiled at that thought, once Skorr was back the two of them
would find the Apocalypse Scouts, then resurrect Shi-ryuu, after
finding the amulet his father had created, then the fun would
begin.
Then the
entire world would become a paradise for both his family and the
demons in general, no longer would they have to be imprisoned,
his father would destroy all who opposed him, and Takai would
watch with glee as his father would do it with mere ease.
... once
they got the Amulet that is ...
Takai
slowly walked around, he could sense souls that were just
begging to be taken, he grimaced inwardly as he felt a pure
soul, to demons and his family pure souls were harder to corrupt
and steal, they were also risky because they could also
contaminate the soul stealer's with decidedly human and
worthless emotions. How his brother Skorr got along with the
emotion to love was beyond him.
The
stench became stronger as Takai noticed a blond haired man with
blue eyes, inwardly he hissed and recoiled, there was something
about this human that screamed "self righteous hero" to the
demigod and hero’s if anything were to be dealt with before they
became a problem for the soulstace ritual, and Takai like his
father didn't want to make a mistake before the ritual was to
begin.
Kevin
noticed a strange face rounding the corner. He had soft brown
hair and stark blue eyes. "You look lost, can I help you?" Kevin
questioned.
"No, not
really" Takai said calmly though his first impulse was to reach
out and rip off the human's head he merely smiled and shook
hands with him, "Antonio Marks" he said in a friendly voice.
"Kevin
Hoshi." He replied returned the handshake, where their hands
connected Kevin had a chill run down his spine but quickly shook
it off.
"Nice to
meet you" Takai said, "just looking for room 12b" he said, "I'll
find it soon enough though, big place though."
"That is
just down this hall here I am on my way there. Will you be
taking Mr. Calmer's class?" Kevin asked as he motioned for them
to walk down the hall together.
Takai
nodded, "yeah, why?" he asked in a confused voice, inwardly
grinning. Like his brothers, Takai was a very good actor, he
could be angry inwardly while happy on the outside, and
vice-versa. That alone was enough to make him a threat to
anyone, especially the Stellar Scouts who had killed his older
brother Shi-ryuu. Shi, Takai thought angrily, he was the reason
why Takai was here. His murder had to be avenged, and Takai was
going to see to it that that happened.
"Mr.
Calmer tends to spit when he talks and gets overly excited over
things so I suggest you sit back a couple of rows." Kevin
explained as the pair rounded another corner.
Takai
nodded, "anything I should look out for here?" he asked.
"Well
lets see some of the Frat Houses might try to hook you in being
new and all, every now and then something weird will happen.
Attacks and stuff." Kevin explained.
"Attacks?" Takai asked in a surprised voice, "what kind?"
"It is
really weird, people will be attacked and their energy gone,
completely. Recently there have been some muggings, people found
dead." Kevin explained in a hushed tone.
Takai
nodded, inwardly smiling, that was due to him and several of the
demons that were with him, and due to Reptile, who was currently
searching the town for the Stellar Scouts, due to his
invisibility powers, Reptile made a perfect spy, with his skill
in hand to hand very exceptional, it was a sad thought that the
now dead ruler of Outworld had exterminated Reptile's race, or
what was left of them after they had been forced to leave the
earth.
"Weird
stuff like that is always happening." Kevin explained as the
stopped outside an open classroom door. "Well here we are, and
like I said sit a few rows back."
"Thanks"
Takai said with a smile, inwardly groaning. He really hated
humans, and to sit in a class without being able to kill them
was surely going to drive him mad, oh well all I can do is tough
it out he thought to himself.
The
class sat down when the bell rang through the University. Mr.
Calmer instantly started teaching his lesson, and like Kevin
said he sprayed the first two rows with his spit.
Takai
however was in the first row and it took all the training, all
the willpower in him to not walk up and rip out Calmer's heart
out, slowly.
Tasha
grimaced as she sat down and pulled out a cigarette then her
lighter and she then drew her lighter and placed the cig near it
in order to light up which she did.
She
smirked as she looked at Mrs. Matheson's office, *time for a
little payback* she thought to herself as she pulled out a
credit card she had lifted then used it to jimmy the lock open.
She
smiled as she entered the office and then began to loot the
place, setting fire to various documents.
Mrs.
Matheson stormed in. The sprinkles began to go off. "Your ride
is here for you young Lady! And you detention will be prolonged.
As long as this behavior continues so will your punishment!"
"Fire
good, school bad" she quipped. Tasha looked at Mrs. Matheson
coldly, "you sure you want that?" she asked calmly, "Because I
really don't do well in detention."
"We will
see!" Mrs. Matheson pointed her slightly wet arm in the
direction of the entryway.
Tasha
smirked, "we sure will boss" she mocked as she turned then
started walking out.
"Tasha?"
Kevin asked. He was sitting on one of the chairs up against the
wall. He was sent in to pick up the troublesome girl.
"Hi"
Tasha said with a sly grin as she wet her lips slowly with her
tongue, "your my ride?" she asked sweetly.
"Yes,
that would be me. Pleased to meet you." Kevin extended his hand
to Tasha in a formal greeting.
"Mmmmmmm
my name's anything you want it to be" she said as she flirtingly
winked with Kevin.
Kevin
tilted his head slightly on a slant. "Right, well then Tasha."
He stressed her name. "Lets get going."
"Where
too handsome?" she asked right before she grabbed and kissed
Kevin full on the lips.
Kevin
quickly pushed Tasha away from him rather coldly. "What do you
think you are doing?!"
"Being
nice,” she said as she winked at him, neither of them seeing
Jessica.
" I
guess we have different views of being nice. I would consider
what you just did very rude. After all he is MY boyfriend!"
Jessica said angrily as she walked forward.
"Ohh"
Tasha said in a subdued voice before she snatched the keys from
Kevin then walked out quickly.
"Come
back here!" Jessica said as she ran to catch up with her cousin.
Tasha
walked over to Kevin's bike, then jammed the keys in the
ignition and drove off, tears running down her face. She didn't
know that that was Kevin, nor did she mean to hurt Jessica like
that either. All she had been looking for was some fun.
“I don’t
think I should have come down on her so bad. I don’t even think
she knew that it was you.” Jessica said turning to Kevin. She
felt so bad; her eyes began to get misted.
"Why
don't you go after her?" Kevin asked.
"I will,
but I don't know where she went." Jessica pointed out.
"Follow
the tire marks on the road." Kevin pointed out.
Jessica
ran down the road, hoping that Tasha had pulled over the bike
somewhere. Coming around a turn Jessica say Tasha. She was
leaning up against a cement wall.
Tasha
carefully pulled out a small knife then cut herself across the
right hand, she stiffened at the pain as the blade licked her
skin and blood began to form from the cut, but she clenched her
teeth, the tears falling from her eyes still.
"Tasha
no!" Jessica screamed as she ran over grabbing the knife. The
red head quickly threw the knife. "Please don't do that! It is
dangerous!"
Tasha
looked away, "go’ way" she sobbed.
"No I
won't." Jessica took her cousins hand in her own and wrapped a
handkerchief around the wound to stop the blood flow.
"Just
lemme alone, hurt you enough as it is." She said as she tried to
reach for the knife.
Jessica
kicked the knife out of either of their reach. "Tasha please
don't worry about it. You didn't know it was Kevin did you?"
Jessica asked hopefully.
"No" she
said quietly.
"Look
don't worry about it. You had a mistake, we all do it." Jessica
pointed out.
"Yeah
and you got hurt" she said before she started to walk away.
"Tasha
please don't do this. It was a mistake. Don't get so worked up
over it." Jessica pleaded.
"Why
shouldn't I?" she asked Jessica, "I mean I just saw him
a..an..and then kissed him and then you were there and got angry
but I could tell that I had hurt you."
"Yes
Tasha it hurt me, but you didn't now it was my Kevin. I thought
you might have done it purposely to get back at me for
introducing you to my friends." Jessica explained.
Tasha
smirked, the tears gone, "please, I'm not angry with you Jess. I
don't like them but that's just me I can't hold them against
you."
"No hard
feelings?" Jessica asked as she put out her hand.
Tasha
nodded then shook her cousin's hand. Jessica then bravely hugged
her cousin. Tasha even hugged back a bit.
"Touching" a voice said right before a red and black ninja
attacked, knocking Tasha down then kicking Jessica in the side,
his face had two raccoon like bands around the eyes which glowed
a bright blue without any pupils.
Jessica
gasped quickly getting to her feet. She looked from her attacker
to Tasha who lay unconscious on the sidewalk. Jessica had to
transform and do it fast. With one final look Jessica came to
the conclusion that no one was around. Reaching into her pocket
Jessica pulled out the medallion.
"Sailor
Sun I presume" Takai said before his right hand shot out,
grabbed her medallion and threw it into the alley.
Jessica
glared and ran forward, she just managed to miss her attackers
hands as she made a mad dash down the alley.
Takai
smirked then opened a portal and four huge winged demons flew
out, "seek" he ordered. The gargoyles nodded then flew off.
"Who are
you?" Jessica demanded picking up her medallion.
He
smirked then hurled throwing stars at her, "Shi-ryuu’s and
Kurai-ki's youngest brother."
Gasping
Jessica ducked out of the way. Quickly holding the medallion
above her head she called out the phrase.
The
creatures attacked and Takai smiled coldly, "Pathetic human, you
have to resort to magcs in order to take me on."
"Solaris
Star . . . . . Power!"
Jessica
then closed her eyes. The Solaris Medallion disappeared into
many little orange and gold sparkles; this caused her body to
shimmer the colors of the sparkles as they fell onto her body.
Then her
silver tiara appeared with the red jewel in the center. The
jewel then emitted a blinding flash of orange light that
surrounded Jessica giving her the feeling of the bright morning
sun on her body.
Then a
swirl of orange and gold sparkles warped around her body moving
upward as it spun around her body. The body suit of her uniform
then appeared. And the bows came out of the heart in the center
of her chest. Sparkling golden rings then went around her feet
forming boots. Then more sparkling rings went around her arms
forming her gloves. Soon afterward the golden sparkles went
around her waist forming her skirt.
At that
point there was a large burst of golden sparkles that flew up
into the air, when the sparkles fell to the ground Sailor Sun
was then revealed fully transformed. She did her transformation
pose. She stood there with one hand across her forehead and the
other across her stomach with her legs together. Her long red
hair then blew to the side.
Sailor
Sun was protected from the attacks while she transformed. But
after that it was up to herself to battle the new demon.
Takai
laughed as the gargoyles attacked her. Landing on an old crate,
which instantly splintered on contact, Sailor Sun slowly stood
to her feet. "You can't win, my father's sent me here to deal
with you and your fellow scouts, and that means I will do all
within my power to destroy you!"
"What is
your name?" Sailor Sun demanded as she did a back flip over two
of the gargoyles kicking them in the back of the head.
"Why do
you want to know?"
"I think
it is only fair. After all you know my name." Sailor Sun pointed
out as she did a sidekick to another of the gargoyles.
"It's
Takai" he said with a shrug, as one of the gargoyles hit her
with it's wings.
Letting
out a groan of pain Sailor Sun stood up from where she was
knocked. "Takai." She said looking at the demon. "Why do you
come for me and the Stellar Senshi?"
"You
killed my brother Shi, dad's mad, 'nough said."
"He
deserved it." Sailor Sun pointed out as she leapt into the air.
Her fast movements caused two of the gargoyles to collide into
one another knocking them unconscious.
"He was
dealing with a traitor."
"He was
the traitor!" Sailor Sun shot back.
"Shi
wasn't, Kurai-ki betrayed my family and then sent me, Shi-ryuu
and father into the Neatherealm."
"Shi-ryuu
attacked Emperor Valico!" Sailor Sun pointed out. " He was the
one who betrayed his boss.
"Umm his
real boss was my dad." Takai explained.
"Either
way your family has some serious problems." Sailor Sun quipped."
Valico
betrayed him on father's orders, well his and your aunt's."
"My
aunt?" Sailor Sun asked.
"Your
aunt Hecate or whatever her name was, who do you think restored
her? it was me and one of my spies."
"What?
Why?" Sailor Sun demanded. "I was going to save her!"
"It was
an exchange, we got her soul and she got power simple as that."
"Her
soul?" Sailor Sun asked gulping. The gargoyles had called off
their attacks for now.
Takai
grinned, "I took her soul personally, then corrupted it. I have
all her thoughts." He nodded to the gargoyles that attacked
again.
"Sun
Fire Beam . . . . . BURN!"
Sailor
Sun stood with her legs together, and then she put her hands
together as if she were going to pray. She closed her eyes and
slowly lifted her hands towards the sky. During this whole time
Sailor Sun's hair was blowing fiercely around her. There was be
a bright flash of golden and orange light which caused her body
to shimmer, then a large golden fireball spun around Sailor Sun
then turned and head towards the directed targets. When it
reached the gargoyles, the fire ball spun around them a couple
of times and each time the fireball got closer to the skin of
the enemy burning it.
Takai
just watched as the beam hit the gargoyles then seemed to
expand, only they split and the halves formed two more
gargoyles. "Nice work, but these ones come from a place called
the realm of lost souls, your aunt resides there now by the
way."
"Is she
alive?" Sailor Sun asked hopefully. The new set of gargoyles
began to close in on her.
"Nope,
her soul's imprisoned where it should be, no happy rosy future
for her, or for you and your friends either."
"I
wouldn't be so sure of myself if I were you." The Daystar
Knight's voice came from behind Takai, standing to either side
of him were the rest of the Stellar Senshi.
"Ohh
curses, foiled again" Takai said with a smirk on his face,
"you've only faced demons, not something moreso" he said as
lightning flew from his fingertips right at them.
Skillfully jumping from side to side the Senshi were only left
from a few singed places on their uniform.
Takai
yawned, "well this is all quite thrilling but I believe that my
little game has ended, hope you read and listen to the news,
there are oh a lot more bodies laying around while you've been
busy listening to me prattle on" he said before he teleported in
a flash of fire and the gargoyles attacked them.
"Whatever you do don't attack them with your powers. Use your
wits and weapons!" Sailor Sun explained as she called upon her
Sun Fire Saber. By her side daystar Knight pulled his sword from
its sheath.
The
gargoyles howled and attacked, their huge claws and wings
helping them, it was an accident when one of the creatures
screamed as landed in a puddle of water. "What! They are weak
against water! Sailor Shaula!" Sailor Pollux quickly yelled. The
creatures screamed and attacked.
All of
the scouts aside from Sailor Shaula distracted the large
gargoyles so Sailor Shaula could pick the perfect attack.
Three of
the demons snarled and spat out balls of fire at the scouts.
"Well that is why my fire attacks didn't work." Sailor Sun said
sadly.
Four of
the others snarled then waved their hands, thorn like plants
forming, the creatures grabbed them and hurled them at the
scouts. "I'll try my fire on them." Sailor Spica offered. "I
bet opposite powers work on them!"
“SHAULA
FLOOD OF TEARS . . . . . DOWNPOUR – “
Tears
well up in Sailor Shaula's eyes as she bent down and kneeled,
she looked up at the target as the tears poured down her face at
a great speed, she soon had a puddle of tears that grew in size
and it was soon up to her waist, raising higher and higher. The
tears were now at her neck and covered over her head. She
tightly shut her eyes and the pile of water, which formed a
column around her, went right towards the targets. It leaped up
into the air and circled around them and dropped onto them with
such power it forced the gargoyles to be pushed into the floor
or ground.
“SPICA
LAVA RIVER . . . . . CHAR!”
She jumped up into the air and
does a flip, from the ground appeared a opening in a few seconds
a gush of lava came up, Sailor Spica stood on the lava that
bobbed above the ground. The heat around her was emissive but
didn’t seem to bother her. As she did a back flip back the lava
plunged down onto the ground and roared towards the targets at a
surprisingly fast speed. Seeming to leap up into the air the
river of lava plunged down upon the un-expecting victims.
Takai
watched from the rooftops, "if only I had a bag of popcorn as
you humans call it" he quipped, "or maybe some souls would do"
he said as he watched the gargoyles howl and scream.
The
gargoyles disappeared in a flash of dust like substance. Sailor
Sun smiled smugly. "That's one nothing us!" Sailor Spica called
out to Takai.
"You
passed a test, nothing more nothing less" he said with a smile,
"go home and check the news, I believe you'll realize that this
was a diversion while some of my lieutenants took a lot of
souls"
"And
furthermore, ado" he said as a portal that was blood red
appeared before the Scouts and he walked into it.
"So it
begins again." Sailor Sun said with a said sigh.
::
Neatherealm ::
Takai
laughed as he reappeared in the forbidding wastelands known only
as the Neatherealm, everywhere demons and other beings howled in
pain as he bowed before a tall man in a sign of respect.
"You've
done well Takai" the man said, pride evident in his voice, "
forty souls taken in one night, I will need more and my amulet
in order to emerge from this prison" the man said, his five star
pointed hat making him seem a bit taller, as his green
pupil-less eyes glowed, "go and return with more" he ordered.
"Yes
father" Takai said as he bowed then vanished in a flash of
Neatherealm fire.
Tasha
groaned then got to her feet, her head hurt, and so did her arm.
Jessica
looked down at her cousin with worried eyes. "Are you alright
now?" She asked steadying Tasha who was a bit wobbly.
"Yeah, I
guess" she said before she picked up her backpack and got out a
small bag of white stuff, "once I dose up" she said.
"I don't
think so." Jessica snatched the white stuff from Tasha and threw
it into a deep puddle. "You have to promise me something."
"Hey!!
That was my last bag!!" she protested, "the guy who sells to me
said I needed cash in order to get more!!"
"Will
you promise me something?" Jessica demanded. "If you are truly
sorry for what happened today.”
"What?"
she asked warily.
"That
you will stop abusing your body. No drugs and please don't cut
yourself." Jessica pleaded with sad eyes. She was really worried
about Tasha and it showed.
"Why?
Not like I don't deserve to get myself killed," she said as she
looked away, "I mean it was my fault." Tasha started to say her
voice lowering, "..that mom an' dad ... died," she whispered in
a hoarse voice.
"Tasha
you can't blame yourself for your parents death." Jessica said
as she put a comforting hand on Tasha's.
"Two
words, convenience store" Tasha said, "If I had kept quiet then
they wouldn't have died."
"Don't blame yourself, but
please promise me you won't abuse your body anymore. If you
won't do it for me do it for your parents." Jessica asked.
"Their
dead" she said, "nothing I can do will bring them back, besides
you'd probably say that me being with all the men I've been with
and drinking is bad too."
"Yes I
would, but we will work this out one step at a time. Promise
me." Jessica shook Tasha by the shoulders trying to make the
situation more real
"Fine"
Tasha said, "but I don't see it as abusing my body
"Remember you promised Tasha and I trust you." Jessica warned.
Tasha
shrugged, "yeah I promised, yeah good for me, little Tasha whose
nothing more then trouble to most promised" she said before she
growled and then looked at her watch, "listen I've got to go,
I'll be back soon" she said as she turned on the ignition of the
bike, hopped on and started up the engine, only to have Jessica
hop on as well. "Ummmmmm where are you going?" Tasha asked her.
"I'm
making sure you keep your promise." Jessica explained.
"Not
right now, I need you to cover for me with your mom and dad."
“Why
should I do that?”
"Because
I am going to be out longer then I'm supposed to be."
"Where
are you going?"
"Someplace they wouldn't approve of." Tasha said truthfully.
"Not
tonight Tasha. You need to go home. Your head has a nice sized
lump on it. Please not tonight." Jessica pleaded.
"I have
to, need to make some money, fast, easy and more then enough to
head back to San Fran."
"I don't
think so Tasha. Please come home tonight. If you want I can get
mom and dad to give you an allowance or something. And maybe
even get them to pay for a flight so your friends came come
visit."
"You
don't understand, it's not what I want and I doubt Jeffrey would
be happy when he met my friends, I mean we're tight, like you
and your friends are, but that's all. We steal, we flirt, and we
have fun that way."
"Tasha!
Please just one night!"
She
sighed, "alright" she said then looked at her, "why do you have
to care so much anyways?" she asked Jessica.
"Because
I remember when we were so much alike. Doing everything
together. You were my best friend as well as my closest family.
I always felt like I was closer to you then my own parents."
Jessica explained truthfully.
Tasha
looked away, idly she wondered how to get Jessica to leave her
alone. Finally an idea came to mind, "I didn't feel that way"
she lied.
"Nice
try Tasha. Nice try." Jessica said with a grin. She knew her
cousin too well. "No lets go home. We will watch Buffy or
something."
Tasha
chuckled. “That isn’t on tonight.
"Alright
then how about Angel, that is on." Jessica pointed out.
Tasha
smiled a bit,” deal, but just for tonight, and I'm not making
any deals about the school or anything. I like trouble anyways."
