The queen stared in horror as the information slowly processed
in her mind. "All this time you, Sailor Sun and you, the Daystar
Knight. Each of you held a part of the Golden Illusion Jewel
within you." So much fear could be seen in her eyes.
Prince Daystar turned to face his princess. A small quick smile
escaped his lips. "Princess Cassandra, you have come back to
fight with me, now together we can do this. We can do this for
the world, our friends and family, and most of all for each
other."
Princess Cassandra's body slowly sunk to the floor, her feet
still didn't touch the floor but she was now eye level with
Prince Daystar. She smiled. "You are right we shall do this for
everyone." Her arms extended out to the Golden Illusion Jewel.
The golden light continued to flow from the jewel. She raised it
above her head as she closed her eyes tightly.
A look of determination spread across her face. Her eyes opened
again as she moved her arms in front of her chest. A Beam of
golden energy went straight towards the un-expecting queen.
Her shrill scream echoed through the walls. Everything went
quiet, Queen Hecate sat on the floor, she could barley move. She
looked up at Princess Cassandra and Prince Daystar. "Well I
guess my time has come, and to be killed by your own niece. How
heartless." The queen looked down at the floor.
Silence came again. Princess Cassandra's body fell to the floor;
the Golden Illusion Jewel fell to her side. She too now sat on
her knees. Her head fell into her hands, then the tears came,
streaming down her cheeks. "I can't, I just can't. If I were to
kill her, Queen Hecate, my own aunt. That would make me just as
heartless as she. For she, who killed my family and everyone I
held dear. If I were to be her destroyer then I'd be just as bad
as her."
Tears came down her cheeks more quickly now. The princess' blue
eyes looked up into Prince Daystar's. "I . . . I'm sorry. But I
can't." She turned to look at where her friends hung from
chains. "I'm sorry everyone, but I can't!" She screamed out the
words as she threw her head back.
Prince Daystar went to her side; he put a comforting arm on her
shoulders. "You can do it don't be afraid, she killed for a very
cruel reason, she wanted to over throw her own brother. But you,
you have a good reason, you are doing this too not only save
yourself and your friends. You are doing this to avenge the
death of your parents, family. And most importantly you are
doing this to save the world, without you, every human, and
every living thing will perish. And only you can stop it."
The prince walked over and stood in front of the princess, he
took both of his hands and placed them on her shoulders. He
pulled her to her feet. "Now, you can do this, the only thing
that you need to do is believe in yourself."
Princess Cassandra looked up at Prince Daystar. "Do . . . do you
believe in me?" She asked, tears were still running down her
cheeks, her eyes were red, and the collar of her dress was wet
from all of the tears she shed.
With his hand he wiped away the tears. "Oh course I do, we all
do." He said as he gently kissed her forehead. With that he
stepped back, brought his hands to his side and continued to
stare at her beautiful blue eyes.
His words repeated over and over again in her head. Then
suddenly the voices of her friends could be heard in her head.
They all spoke encouraging words. Eight voices stood out the
most, they were the voices of her best friends.
'I believe in you Jessica, Sailor Sun, Princess Cassandra. You
can do it." Sailor Moons voice spoke softly.
'Sailor Sun, you can achieve any goal no matter how hard it
seems.' Tuxedo Mask's voice was inspiring.
'You can do anything if you put your mind to it.' Sailor
Mercury's voice was also soft spoken.
'I know I can be a bit bossy at times, but this time I think
there is an exception. You go and do it!" Sailor Mars' voice was
pushy as usual.
'Go get her!' Sailor Jupiter's voice was very enthusiastic.
'Just think of the love that everyone shows towards you.' Sailor
Venus's voice was the same as always.
'Jessica, we both believe in you and so does everyone else. Why
we wouldn't be this far without you.' Luna and Artemis' voices
were very reassuring.
'Princess, I have been watching you all of this time, I don't
know if you have noticed what an interesting person you have
become, you have become stronger, smarter, more beautiful. It
would be a shame to see everything that you have become,
everything that you have worked all your life to achieve, it
would be a shame to see all of that gone to waste. So
please, please do this for me and most importantly yourself.'
Eclipse's voice was the one that stood out most of all; it was
filled with so much love, and
trust.
Princess Cassandra looked up from her feet; the Golden Illusion
Jewel floated up to its place, right in front of her chest. Her
arms raised to meet the jewel. Determination spread across her
face as her eyes went to look into
Prince Daystar's eyes.
During the time that the princess was getting a boost of
self-confidence the queen had rose to her feet and had been
gathering all of her strength into a Power bomb. Just as
Princess Cassandra turned to face the queen,
she was greeted by a blinding ball of energy, which was hurdling
towards her, and the prince with tremendous speed.
Without anytime to block the oncoming attack, the prince and the
princess were thrown off their feet. They were flung at the wall
as if they were useless pieces of garbage. The queen's laugh
rang throughout the walls.
"Stupid human's, those who have a heart can feel guilt, and your
guilt will be your demise. If you had only taken your chance
then you would not have to worry about this little predicament
that you have gotten yourselves into."
She raised her hand and shot a ball of fire at the two badly
wounded soldiers.
The prince and the princess both let out pain curdling screams.
Princess Cassandra tried to stand, her attempt was in vain. The
prince also tried, but much like the princess, it was in vain.
"How stupid you are, to actually think that you'd be able to
stand after two powerful attacks like that." The queen threw her
head back and laughed.
'I can't do this, I'm sorry everyone but I have failed in what
you have asked me to do, even after you all gave me every bit of
faith that you had.' The princess thought to herself as she let
her head fall and rest on her shoulder.
Unexpectedly the voices could be heard in her head all over
again. She shook her head, and looked to the right, then her
right hand inched its way across the floor to where the Golden
Illusion Jewel lay. Her fingertip touched it and pulled it
closer.
Her hand wrapped around the precious jewel. Her entire body was
filled with strength; she could feel the energy coursing through
her veins. All of her wounds were healed, and with the power of
the jewel she was brought to her feet.
The queen stared in disbelief, "N . . . no this can't be, you
were to die by my hand, there is no way that you could be
standing before me, no wounds, not even any scratches." Her
mouth dropped open, a gasp escaped.
"Ah, but really, an intelligent woman like you should know by
now that not even you can stop me nor any of the others. For we
fight with all of our heart. And I'm also sure that at this
point you should know that good ALWAYS
triumphs over evil." Princess Cassandra stepped forth without
any fear.
"And guess what, I'm the good and you are the evil! So prepare
to die for I am the princess of the red star the sun, fighting
for all within the sol system! With the flames of the sun, and
the power of fire, prepare to burn because I will punish you!"
The princess got into her fighting stance.
The queen was speechless, she now knew that there would be no
stopping her niece now. Nothing could be done to save her life,
unless . . .
"I call upon the great power's of the star which is the center
of the Sol system, bring forth the legendary Sun Fire Saber!"
Her tiara then emitted a blinding light. She stood with her feet
apart. Her right hand was slightly above the left. The Fire
Saber appeared above her head. It hovered there for a few
seconds then Princess Cassandra reached her hands above her
head and the Saber floated down into her hands.
Princess Cassandra then closed her eyes and brought the Fire
Saber down in front of her chest. She then cried,
"SUN FIRE SABER . . . . . STAB!"
Her body became surrounded by her golden aura, as did the sword.
Princess Cassandra jumped into the air and did a flip and swung
the Saber right in front of the queen.
First she swung to the left then to the right causing the
imprint of a "X" in front of the queen. Princess Cassandra the
jumped back and the marks in the air begin to glow and move
closer to the queen. Once the mark touched
the queen she became engulfed in bright golden energy. Her
scream's could barley be heard because the energy which
surrounded her was strong.
Once the light died down the queen lay on the floor, the only
thing that was moving was her chest, which slowly rose up then,
went down. The princess stood still, she knew it wasn't over
yet. She was right, the queen astonishingly stood up, even if it
did take her a few minutes she stood to her feet.
"You think that you have won princess, but I assure you that you
haven't. No matter how much you believe in yourself there is
nothing you can do to stop what lies ahead." The words barely
escaped her lips. Her arms were
scorched, as were her legs.
"Right now as we speak the, the planets will still aline, and
once they do then there will be panic, terror, death, and
victory. Even if you kill me now, I will still be victorious,
I'd die knowing that I was victorious in destroying everything
that you hold dear yet again!" The queen said with a sneer.
Princess Cassandra's eyes grew wider with surprise and wonder.
She looked at the queen.
"Surprised, you should be, just look out there, towards the
planets, soon enough they shall all be alined and then a power
like no other will come down through them destroying everything
in site. Including every planet in
this solar system, even the sun shall be destroyed.' The queen
looked up towards the ceiling. The blackness of the ceiling
faded away, she looked up into the sky through the glass like
surface, as did the princess.
"Originally I was going to seize the energy, make it my own, I
was going to do it just before everything was destroyed, just
imagine, with all of that power I would be supreme, every living
being would fear me, I would be the supreme ruler over this
entire system." She paused and looked at Princess Cassandra.
"But now I will just let the energy destroy everything,
including you and the other sailor failures. So if you have any
last words you had better say them now, because it has begun."
She looked back into the heavens above,
A distant light could be seen, it was all the way at Pluto. The
light began to come closer slowly.
"You must stop this, for even yourself will be destroyed."
Princess Cassandra said, she was unable to take her eyes away
from the light, which inched its way towards them.
"I already said that I do not care if I perish, I'll still be
victorious." She looked up into the stars.
'What can I do?' The princess thought to herself. She then felt
Prince Daystar's hands rest on her shoulders. His arms were full
of cuts and scraps. Princess Cassandra turned to face her
prince.
"Use the Golden Illusion Jewel it is the only chance you will
have." With those words he fell to the floor, he was tired; it
had taken almost all of his energy to get up from where he had
fallen.
"But will the power from the Golden Illusion Jewel be enough? I
don't think it will, this is something that is bigger then
anything that we have ever gone up against before.
The voices could be heard in her head again. They all talked
together this time. They said, 'Princess, we will lend you our
power, with all of our strength, it should be enough to save
everything.' The voices trailed off.
Princess Cassandra turned to look at each of her friends, they
all began to glow the bright colors of their auras. They were
giving up their energy to help her.
The aura's left the bodies of her friends and floated towards
princess Cassandra. She turned to face the oncoming energy. In
front of her hands was the Golden Illusion Jewel, the auras
flowed into the Golden Illusion
Jewel causing it to glow even brighter then before.
The light that it was giving off was blinding even for the
princess, but she kept her eyes open and focused her energy on
the task at hand. Her eyes then closed, thus making it easier to
concentrating, the light had by now passed by Jupiter, it was
coming at a quicker pace now.
"Solaris Star . . . . . POWER!"
Her voice could only be heard faintly, the energy was
practically on top of her. The energy was an inch away from the
Golden Illusion Jewel, her eyes snapped open, she raised the
Golden Illusion Jewel at the energy, which was before her.
Her arms were under much strain as she forced them to hold the
jewel forth. The energy didn't go any further, it fought with
the jewel which the princess held onto.
Sometimes the energy would force her arms back, but she was
quick to thrust her arms forth, not allowing the energy to pass
by her. The battle went on for sometime.
Her teeth were clenched together; her eyes were squinted against
the blinding light that was given off. Then the voices were
heard again, giving her the encouragement that was needed. Their
smiling faces could be seen clearly before her.
Upon her shoulders were Prince Daystar's hands. He could barley
stand but he stood up with his true love, he had to lend more
energy to help with the battle, the battle which was against all
odds.
The sailor scouts and Tuxedo Mask broke away from the chains,
which had held them, they made their way over and stood around
the princess of the sun in a circle, the held hands. The five
girls went into their princess forms;
Tuxedo Mask went into his prince form.
They gave more energy as the yelled out their transformation
phrases one by one.
"MOON STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"MERCURY STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"MARS STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"JUPITER STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"VENUS STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"TUXEDO MASK COSMIC STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"DAYSTAR COSMIC . . . . . POWER!"
Each gave the remaing power to Princess Cassandra. The light of
the Golden Illusion Jewel grew stronger, it grew larger then
that of the energy which would destroy everything. The golden
light surrounded the ball of energy, it covered it entirely, it
then began to grow smaller and smaller, causing the great ball
of energy to slowly lose its power and shrink in size.
The strain that was on Princess Cassandra's arms began to
reside. The energy was no more, the golden princess fell back
into Prince Daystar's arms, her face had gone blank, her eyes
were closed, her chest still moved, scarcely.
The five-sailor scout's fell to their knees, everyone was
exhausted. Prince Daystar slowly went to his knees, being
careful not to move the princess too much.
He lay her head on his lap. Her ran his fingers through her
hair. The others all looked towards Princess Cassandra, the one
who had saved them all.
The princess still didn't stir, she lay motionless on Prince
Daystar's lap, worried looks came across their faces. "Is, is
she alright?" Princess Serenity asked as she looked at her dear
friend. "Please say that she is alright and that didn't take too
much out of her." She crawled closer to her friend. She lay her
head on Princess Cassandra's chest. She could feel the heart
beat, it was slow, but it was there.
"Come on princess, you can't leave us now, you have saved us,
and everyone else. You can't go now, for if you go now then
there was no point of you doing this for everyone. Life isn't
worth living without you." Prince Daystar leaned closer to the
princess' face, his eyes got wet. He tried to hold back the
tears but his attempt was in without success. The tears streamed
down his face. I single tear dropped onto Princess Cassandra's
forehead.
The sign of the sun began to glow brightly. Her eyes flinched,
then slowly opened. She looked around at her friends then up at
Prince Daystar. She opened her mouth, "Did we win?" She asked
softly.
Everyone began to laugh with delight, tears now ran down
everyone's face with tears of pure joy. Many congratulations
were heard in Princess Cassandra's ears.
Once she got enough energy she rose to her feet, she walked over
to where Queen Hecate lay. "Please, please let me heal you with
the Golden Illusion Jewel. You have nothing left, nothing but
me. I would be willing enough to give you another chance at
life. Now if I have your permission." Princess Cassandra said as
she kneeled by her aunt.
The queen turned to look at her niece with questioning eyes.
"You would do that, after, after I nearly killed you and your
friends, I even killed your parents and you feel no hate towards
me." The queen turned away. "Why?" She
asked.
"Because, because you are the only family that I have remaining
form my time." Princess Cassandra held the Golden Illusion Jewel
tightly in the palm of her hand, waiting for an answer.
"Yes, I give you permission." The queen turned back to her
niece.
With those words Princess Cassandra stood up and held the Golden
Illusion Jewel above her head. The golden energy poured out of
the jewel, it flowed down to towards the queen.
The golden light touched her body, and covered her in light,
blocking her from everyone's view. Once the light died away and
everyone lowered his or her arms, the form of the queen lay on
the floor. The queen's form then
began to glow a mysterious black and gold color, she
disappeared.
Princess Cassandra stared in shock. "Well I guess even she
couldn't be saved." Prince Daystar said as he lay his hands on
he shoulders.
'I don't know, I have a really weird feeling about this.'
Princess Cassandra thought to herself. Then she shoved it into
the back of her mind, she didn't want to think about the
different possibilities for why the queen had disappeared. So
she turned to face her friends. "Well we did it everyone, I say
that we should all go and celebrate! What do you say, ice cream
and cake for all!" Princess Cassandra said with a smile.

Well that is it, Sailor Moon Millennium is over sadly. But don't
worry I have already started to think of new ideas for a whole
new adventure of Sailor Sun and possible a few new scout's. Well
anyway moving on . . . I would ask anyone who has read SMM to
please write to me and tell me what you thought. Oh and don't
forget to sign the guestbook before you leave! Well until I
write again.
