Sailor Moon Millennium #17 - Bad to Worse -

"Well that isn't good at all! How could I lose my best warrior to the sailor scouts? How could they do that? Lord Sith was a part of the Darkstar Galaxy! Now he is a worthless no good human. Oh where did I go wrong with this whole thing?" Queen Hecate was storming around the dim throne room. Anything that she could get her hands on was thrown across the room with rage. Her red 
aura was blazing around her.

After terrorizing the throne room for some time she decided to sit down in her throne exhausted and enraged. "Well I guess you can't send a man to do 
a woman's job!" The queen sat upright and proper in her throne. "Lady Demise come forth!"

There was silence then the room was filled with high-pitched laughter. Then on the cold black floor before the throne in which Queen Hecate sat in a whirlpool of water formed it swirl around in circles. Up from the whirlpool 
on the floor came the figure of a woman. She came out of the whirlpool like she was on an escalator.

When the figure of the woman was fully out of the whirlpool of water she began to take detail. She was rather tall. She had long wavy blonde hair that went down to her knees. She had cold sky-blue eyes. She wore a long flowing dress that sparkled in the dim light. On her arm she had a gold coiled snake. You couldn't see her shoes because of the long dress. He skin had a pale blue coloring to it. She smiled a wicked smile and bowed before the queen.

"Ah Lady Demise, just the woman that I wanted to see. I'm sure you can pull this plan off to get me the Golden Illusion Jewel, and get the needed energy to keep the Darkstar Galaxy going in this poor world." The queen got up off her throne and walked around Lady Demise.

"Yes my queen I will get you the Golden Illusion Jewel and more then enough energy to keep the Darkstar Galaxy going strong. And I'm to inform you that your base on earth is complete and they are awaiting your arrival for the grand opening."

"Ah well this is all good news, so I want you to take this with you I'm sure that this will aid you with the search for the Golden Illusion Jewel. Lord Sith was working on this and in his last plan he collected enough energy to perfect this. So take this and go forth to earth and find the Golden Illusion Jewel." Queen Hecate sat down one her throne.

"Yes my queen." Lady Demise bowed before her queen then slowly sunk into the whirlpool that formed at her feet.

* * * * *

"So what are you and Brent going to do today?" Serena asked Jessica as she leaded closer to her friends shoulder. Serena's face was full of hopefulness. Jessica and Brent's relationship had become the talk in school. And each 
of Jessica's friends was always anxious to hear what was going on between the two of them.

Jessica fell backwards into the lawn chair that she was sitting in. She had her hands at her chest. She let out a big sigh then turned to face her friend. "Well we have a date to go to the park and rent a row boat later on tonight. He said that he had to tell me something important. Then he went off towards the flower shop. I wonder what he is going to tell me." Jessica said as she sat back up.

A wide grin spread across Serena's face. "I know what he is going to tell you." Jessica's whole face was questioning. "He is going to tell you that he loves you!"

Jessica's face became full of amazement. Her eyes widened and her mouth was opened wide. "No he wouldn't be telling me that." Jessica paused. "Could 
he?" Jessica sat back, she was thinking about how Brent would say that he loves her. What gift he would give her."

"Oh I remember the first time that Darien said that he loved me, okay picture this . . ." Serena continued to go on with her story but Jessica wasn't paying any attention to her friend. She was only thinking of Brent.

Jessica was woken from her daydream as cold water surrounded her body. She opened her eyes and swam to the surface. She looked at her five friends who were all standing on the side of the pool laughing historically. Jessica smiled her sweetest smile as if to say that she forgives her friends for throwing her into the pool. Then she grabbed Serena's and Lita's legs and pulled them into the pool.

Serena grabbed Mina and Ami and Lita grabbed Raye's arm, both girls were trying to get their balance so they wouldn't fall into the pool but it didn't help them or the other's any. They all went tumbling into the water with a 
big splash.

* * * * *

In the Darkstar base on earth . . . 

"Well this place is looking great, just the way I wanted it to look. You have done well in creating this base for me. And you are sure that the human's can't see it no matter what." Queen Hecate turned to look at Lady Demise.

"Yes I was here to make sure that everything went as planed and the no one can see the base no matter what. You do know that no human's have ever been to this place before. They don't even know that it exists. We are a far way from any human settlements. So we don't have to worry about anyone come to this deep dark cave all the way in the largest most unexplored Lost Desert in the small un-known island off the shores of the Eastern Coast."

"I see, well I'll be off and finish the tour of the palace without you." The queen turned to look off towards the dark hallway that stretched on forever it looked like. "You may go back to your chamber and come up with a plan to get the much needed energy and the Golden Illusion Jewel. I think that the sailor scout's are starting to figure us out so be sure to watch yourself I don't want them to get in the way this time!"

Lady Demise bowed before her queen and said. "Yes my queen." The queen walked down towards the unseen end of the dark hallway. The heels of her shoes could be heard off in the distance but she could no longer be seen. 

'Oh I hate her, she is so demanding, there is no way that we can carry out our plan without those pesky scout's getting in the way. And then when it seams like the plan is going to work those stupid capped men show up and spoil it!' Lady Demise thought to herself as she walked down the hall in the opposite direction that Queen Hecate had gone.

Lady Demise snapped her finger's together. "That is it!" She yelled out. She looked around embarrassed to see if anyone had seen or heard her. When she saw that no one was there she walked away quickly to her chamber.

* * * * *

"Eclipse! Eclipse! Where are you?" Jessica walked through her large house yelling the dogs name as she entered a room. "Oh where can that dog be?" Jessica walked outside and there laying on the cement that surround the 
large pool was the big black and brown dog. Jessica walked over to the dog and knelt down beside the large black and brown ball. She put her mouth down to the dogs ear and screamed his name into it.

The large dog stood up quickly stood up startled. He had gotten up so quickly that he fell into the pool with a big splash. When the dogs big black and brown head came to the surface he didn't look very pleased. He swam over to the latter and climbed out of the pool.

The dripping dog walked over to Jessica. "No what did you go and do that for?" Eclipse asked as he looked up at Jessica's smiling face. She was trying so hard not to burst out laughing.

"I . . . I'm sorry, I didn't think that you were going to fall into the pool. But I just wanted to tell you that I'm going out to meet Brent. We have a date in fifteen minutes!" Jessica said as she looked down at her watch. Jessica turned and waved good-bye to Eclipse.

An absurd grin spread across his face. "Wait Jessica I've got something to give you before you go." Eclipse said as he walked up to Jessica's said, still dripping with water. Jessica stopped and looked down at the soaked dog. Eclipse's cheesy grin spread larger as he shook his body and spraying all the water off of his sleek wet coat onto Jessica. Jessica screamed as she put her hands up as if that was going to stop the water from touching her.

An angered look came across Jessica's face as she ran off towards the house in a hurry. Eclipse went back over and sat down on the warm cement that had been in the sun the whole day. Just as Eclipse's back had dried off from the warm rays of sunlight he felt cold water hit his back. He turned to look in the direction that the water was coming from. And there Jessica was standing with the garden hose in her hands and she was spraying Eclipse with the cold water full blast.

Jessica turned off the hose then smiled. "I'll see you later!" She called over her shoulder as she ran off into the house. Eclipse looked down at his yet again dripping coat.

* * * * *

"So Brent what was it that you wanted to tell me?" Jessica asked as she leaned closer to Brent. They were sitting in a small rowboat in the middle of the lake in Tokyo Park.

Brent got comfortable on the seat in the center of the rowboat. He took Jessica's hands in his. "I don't know if you really want to hear this but it is something I must tell you." Brent paused and held his head low. "I'm going away forever, we are moving to Europe, my dad got job offer that he just can't refuse so I'm afraid that I'll be leaving tomorrow. I'm really sorry Jessica." Brent looked back up at Jessica his eyes were red.

Jessica sat in the boat. Her face was full of surprise and shock. She just sat there without her expression changing. She didn't know what to say or what to do. She just sat there without another word.

Brent broke the silence. "We can still write to each other, I'll write to you as soon as I get to my new home. And I think that it would be the best for the both of us if we broke up. Long distance relationships don't work. Since we will most likely never see each other again I don't want to ask you to stay with me. It hurts me to do this but I believe that it is for our own good."

Jessica continued to sit in the boat without saying a word just looking at Brent with red eyes. After some time Jessica spoke. "I . . . understand. I won't forget you." Jessica fell into Brent's arms. She let the tears go, she and Brent had been going out for almost six-month's and it was really hard for her to say goodbye. Brent rubbed Jessica's head and ruffled the red hair. He put his head on hers trying to comfort her and to calm her down.

At the end of the night Brent dropped Jessica off at her house and they kissed one last time. Jessica stood on the steps that lead up to her house and watched as Brent walked away into the darkness.

When Jessica walked into her house she went upstairs to her room and flung herself onto her large bed. Eclipse walked into the room. He knew what had happened because he read Jessica's thought. "You want to talk about it?" Eclipse asked as he jumped up onto the bed beside Jessica.

Jessica shook her head in disagreement as she sat up and looked at the black and brown dog. "Why don't you call your friends and invite them up for a sleepover, and rent movies, eat cookie dough and talk about girl stuff." Eclipse looked at Jessica who only shook her head in disagreement again. Eclipse gave up and jumped off the bed and went out of the room shaking his head. Jessica lay back down on her head and put her head in her arms. And ended up crying herself to sleep.

* * * * *

"I'm worried about Jessica she hasn't come out of her room all day, she won't talk to anyone, not even Eclipse. We really have to do something for her, maybe buy her a gift." Serena turned to the other four girls that all sat around the picnic table in the park. The sun was setting in the far distance behind the mountains of Northern Japan.

"Yeah, she isn't taking this whole situation very well, I saw we all go up to her house and surprise her with movies, the latest manga's and some chocolate ice cream. What do you think?" Ami asked as she looked at each of her friend's faces for their reaction.

In unison the four girls all said. "Sounds good!" And nodded their heads, they each got up and picked up their books or whatever else they had brought to the park with them. Then the silence was broken by a scream that was shrill an echoed through the parks.

The five girls looked at each other and nodded. They held their transformation items above their heads and called out their transformation phrases. Once they had each transformed they went off in the direction of the scream on the other side of the park.

* * * * *

On the other side of the Tokyo Park . . .

"Give me your energy and become a member of the Darkstar Galaxy fighting for the all powerful Queen Hecate!" Lady Demise stood over a helpless homeless man. He was sitting on the ground and was covering his head with his arms.

"I am Sailor Moon the champion of justice and you have no right to take something that doesn't belong to you. Even if he does smeel." Sailor Moon put her finger's to her nose trying to get ride of the smell. In the name of the moon I will punish . . . " Sailor Moon never got to finish her 
sentence Lady Demise created a whirlpool of water at her feet that went up around her causing her to be trapped behind a wall of water. Lady Demise did the same to the other four-sailor scout's.

Sailor Mars reached out and touched the wall of water with her hand as soon as her touched it her energy was drained and she fell to her knees exhausted.

Oh this isn't good, we must get out of these things maybe we could just jump through without getting too much energy sucked away from us." Sailor Venus suggested, as she looked at the wall of water that surround her.

Sailor Moon's eyes widened. "I believe we better come up with a way to get of this very fast! Look at the water around you, they are getting closer! All of our energy will be sucked away from us just like Sailor Mars. We will be rendered without any energy!"

"I'll try to contact Jessica and tell her that we need her hear as soon as possible or we will all be doomed." Sailor Mercury pulled out her communicator and typed in the button that had the sign of the sun on it. The little communicator beeped signaling Jessica that the scout's needed 
to talk to her.

* * * * *

In Jessica's bed room . . .

Jessica sat on her bed ignoring the beeping of the communicator on her dresser. She just lay down on her bed and covered her head with her pillow. Eclipse walked into the room and looked at Jessica then at the beeping and flashing communicator. "Jessica you should answer this, the sailor scout's might be in trouble!" Eclipse walked over to the dresser and put his front paws on the top of it.

The big dog awkwardly pushed on of the buttons. Sailor Mercury's faced flashed up. "Quickly you must come to the Tokyo Park! We all need your help we are trapped in these walls of water! So get here as soon as you can!" Sailor Mercury's face faded out and the transmission was lost.

"Jessica you heard Sailor Mercury, her and the other's need you help! You must transform and go help your friends and fellow warriors!" Eclipse walked over to Jessica's bed and set his head on the matrices.

Jessica sat up and moved the pillow off her head. "I don't want to, I'm sure they can get out of it if they really try, just think if I wasn't a sailor scout then they would most likely get out, I'm not going to be a sailor scout anymore! I give it up. If I wasn't a stupid sailor scout I would have been 
able to spend more time with Brent!" Jessica lay back down on her bed and covered it with her big red and gold pillow.

* * * * *

Back in the park . . .

"No I will get rid of you pesky sailor scouts! Something that Rhodonite, Lord Sith and the other's have all tried for such a long time, but since they were so foolish they were killed or you turn them against their home and their people! Now are there any last words?" Lady Demise floated up 
into the air. She was hovering over each of the sailor scout's.

Sailor Moon looked at her friends tears were pouring down her cheeks. "Well guys it was great having you at my side! I'm really sorry that it has to end like this, maybe if I was a better leader this wouldn't have happened." Sailor Moon hung her head.

"It's not your fault Sailor Moon, it is no one's fault. Don't worry we will get out of this remember that you become the Queen of Crystal Tokyo. So we will get out of this alive!" Sailor Jupiter said in a very reassuring voice.

"Okay enough with the sappy good-byes already! You're going to make me sick! So anyway on with the destroying you! I think I'll do it with much pain, so I'll slowly crush every bone in your body and during that I'll be taking your energy!" Lady Demise held her open hands out in front of her stomach. Her palms were facing upward. As she made her hands into a fist the walls of water that surround the sailor scout's touched their bodies and slowly the circle got smaller and tightened around each of the girls.

Lady Demise threw her head back and laughed a sinister laugh. Her face was glowing with enjoyment. As she tightened her fist's the tighter the walls of water got around the sailor scout's. "Yes this will be the end of you 
sailor scouts!"

"No it will not!" A mysterious voice came from the tree above. Lady Demise looked in the direction of the voice. But she only saw a flash of red flash in front of her face. She tried to follow the blur but it was too fast, she then felt an agonizing pain at her wrists. She floated to the ground. Then when she looked down at them there was blood trickling down her arms.

Even though Lady Demise's wrist's were cut had she no longer clenched the walls of water continued to get closer to the five other sailor scout's.

Sailor Moon lifted her head up slightly. She managed to open her eyes enough to see Sailor Sun standing with her saber facing her. Sailor Sun then took her saber and cut a square shape in each of the walls of water that surrounded the sailor scout's. Surprisingly the water stopped long enough for the five sailor suited girls to climb out of the energy sucking walls of water.

The sailor scout's stood in their fighting stance's. Lady Demise sent a ball of water that was heading straight towards Sailor Sun and Sailor Moon. The two girls closed their eyes waiting for the impact. Then after a bit Sailor 
Moon open her eyes and she was in Tuxedo Mask's arms. When Sailor Sun opened hers she found herself in the Daystar Knight's arms.

When the Daystar Knight set Sailor Sun down their eyes became looked and they both gazed lovely into each other's blue eyes. The sailor scouts were trying to defend themselves and get attacks in on Lady Demise. Sailor Moon turned her head and yelled over her shoulder. "Sailor Sun a little help please!"

Sailor Sun and the Daystar Knight's eyes unlocked and Sailor Sun turned to face Lady Demise. She smiled a sweet innocent smile. Lady Demise's face became full of wonderment and wonder as she looked at the sailor scout of the sun.

SUN SOLAR FLARES . . . . . BURN! 

Sailor Sun then stood with her legs shoulder width apart. Her hands were at her sides. She head looks upward. Then she put her hands out in front of her chest. Her hands then begin to glow with golden energy she then pushes her arms out as if she is pushing against something heavy. From each of her hands comes two flames of fire. They spin around her body in a clockwise direction then go directly in front of her straight towards Lady Demise.

She didn't see the attack in time to dodge it. She was knocked off her feet and flung across the park about twenty feet away from where Sailor Sun stood. The attack was so powerful that Sailor Sun was knocked off her feet and also stepped a few feet backwards. She expected to land on the hard ground but instead she landed in the Daystar Knight's arms.

Lady Demise was furious, she stood up and began to run full speed at the sailor scout's, She had her hand outstretched like a claw her nails were twice as long as they were before. But before she could reach the sailor 
scout's a loud mysterious voice filled the air. "Lady Demise I command you to return this instant!"

Lady Demise stopped dead in her tracks. "But I can destroy them, I know I can! I came so close."

"Are you disobeying me?" The booming woman's voice asked the mysterious voice and a tone of anger in it. Lady Demise raised her hands and a whirlpool formed below her and she slowly sank away into the water.

"Whose voice was that?" Sailor Sun paused. "It sounded very familiar, I feel like I have heard that voice before but I have no idea where." Sailor Sun looked into the sky confused.

Later on after the sailor scout's thanked Sailor Sun for saving them they all went over to Jessica's and had a big girl's sleepover. They had tons of movies, cookie dough and other junk food. Jessica was actually smiling for the first time since she found out the bad news of Brent's departure.

The six girls, two talking cats and the talking dog (Artemis and Eclipse being the only guys allowed) had a wonderful night that was full of fun, laughter and not much sleep. For once the six girls and even the guardian animal's forgot about them having to save the world. It seemed like they were normal teenage girls that didn't have to worry about saving the world.

The only thing that wasn't normal was the fact that there were two talking cats and a talking dog. But other then that the night was really normal.
