Sailor Moon Millennium #16 - Friend Or Foe? -

"Lord Sith come forth right this instant!" The queen sat on her large black throne her eyes were full of rage, as was her voice. In her right hand she held a black chalice. She was gripping it tightly. Her lips were pressed tightly together.

A large green flame appeared before the queen's throne. Lord Sith appeared within the green blaze. He bowed before his queen and quickly stood up straight and tall. He held his head low in shame. He knew what was coming. "Y . . . yes my queen, what can I do for y . . . you?" Lord Sith muttered as he slowly lifted his head to look at the queen's eyes.

"Don't stand there like a bumbling idiot! You know very well why you are here! You know what you have done wrong! So don't give me that idiot talk! You have failed me again! And you also were very careless to let the Daystar Knight wound you like he did! What were you think?" The queen screamed at Lord Sith, a deep red aura was beginning to flare around her like fire.

"Yes my queen, I do know that I have failed you but it wasn't my fault, how was I supposed to know that Tuxedo Mask and the Daystar Knight were going to show up like that. I am very sorry my queen." Lord Sith stood uneasily 
before the queen.

"How stupid are you?! Every time that either Sailor Sun or Sailor Moon get in the least bit of trouble they show up to save them! It isn't that hard to figure that out! How could you not see that?!" The aura around the queen began to pulse bigger and bigger every passing minute.

"I . . . I don't know how I didn't see that, you are right it isn't hard to miss. Next time I will be more careful, I will not fail you again." Lord Sith bowed before his queen, he could feel his brow becoming full of sweat. A droplet of sweat ran down the side of his face and off his chin towards the dark floor below.

The queen watched as the drop of sweat fell to the floor. The she looked back up at Lord Sith. "Are you forgetting something?" The queen glared at Lord Sith. "There will not be a next time if you fail me this time! So you better come up with a really good plan or this will be your last day in this world!" Queen Hecate threw her chalice at the floor at Lord Sith's feet. He stepped back as the pieces of glass flew up towards his legs.

"Yes my queen, I knew that. I will not fail you." Lord Sith bowed before his queen then turned and disappeared into the darkness of the throne room.

Jessica swung open the large wood door or her house. Eclipse followed her in. Jessica turned and walked down towards the kitchen. "Mom, where are you? I've got the news paper for you." Jessica called as she opened the 
freezer and pulled out an ice cream bar.

"Jessica I believe that your mother is out in the backyard planting her latest shipment of flowers and shrubs." Eclipse said as he walked over to the door that led to the backyard. He pushed the door open with his head. "Yup she is out here." Eclipse disappeared through the door.

Jessica quickly closed the freezer door and grabbed the newspaper off the counter and followed the big black and brown dog through the door. She ran down the steps towards where her mother was bent over a flowerbed. "Mom, I've got the newspaper. And you should read the headlines, it seems that someone is taking over the newspaper company." Jessica handed the paper to her mother.

Mrs. Walker stood up and took her gardening gloves off and set them on the bags of topsoil beside her. "what you mean to say that someone is taking over the Tokyo Metropolitan! Well that is news indeed, that place has been run by the same family for over twenty years, I wonder what made them decide to sell the company." Mrs. Walker's eyes skimmed over the words on the front 
page.

"Does it say who is taking the company over?" Jessica asked as she looked over her mother's shoulder at the newspaper.

"Yes it does his name is Mr. Sithrion." Mrs. Walker said as she pointed to the black and white picture of the man. Jessica looked at the man.

"Do I know him?" She asked her mother as she looked at the familiar eyes of the tall mans picture in the newspaper. Her eyes were full of wonder and confused eyes.

"I don't think so dear, Mr. Sithrion has come all the may from western Europe. There is no way that you could know him, unless you have seen him on the television." Mrs. Walker said as she set the paper on the stone bench. 

Jessica looked down at the picture of the man. Think to herself. 'Those eyes, they are so familiar I'm sure I have seen them somewhere before.'

* * * * *

"This is a perfect plan, this time I will not fail. So many humans waste some much energy with these stupid newspapers that they insist on reading everyday of their pointless short lives. I will get so much energy with this 
plan. And with the energy I can finish my ultimate machine. The machine that will help me find the Golden Illusion Jewel. Then the queen will be very happy with me." Lord Sith stood on a walkway above the machines that made the many newspaper's that had to be sent to the many customers everyday.

The worker's form the pervious owner had all been brainwashed and now served the Darkstar Galaxy. They were walking around the building like mindless zombies.

"Now with a little sprinkle of the powder onto the newspaper's then all of Tokyo's energy will be mine when they touch their newspapers in the morning." Lord Sith held out a small purple pouch. "Start the machines!" Lord Sith commanded. Then the rumble of the machines could be heard throughout the factory. Lord Sith tipped the purple pouch upside down and the sparkling purple powder poured out of the bag and drifted down to the paper below him. Once the powder touched the paper it glowed a dark purple then faded away.

Lord Sith smiled a corrupt smile. And began to laugh a sinister laugh that rang throughout the entire building.

"So Ami have you come up with anything yet?" Lita asked as she looked over her friend's shoulder as she typed on the keypad of her mini computer. Ami shock her head in disagreement as she continued to type information into 
the computer.

"Come on lets talk about something other then scout business, come on lets talk about stuff that normal teenage girls talk about." Jessica looked around the room at everyone's faces to see their reaction. He eyes stopped 
on the glaring eyes of Luna and Eclipse.

"Now Jessica, this matter is very important! We have to find out what Lord Sith is planning to do. We have no time for this girl talk. We have to get some work done." Eclipse said as he sat up proudly. Luna was nodding her head at everything that the big black and brown dog said.

"Oh come on you two, let them have a day when the don't have to worry about saving the word and protecting the innocent." Artemis boldly said as he stepped in front of Luna and Eclipse.

The six girl's eyes widened, and when Luna and Eclipse said something had to be done, it was done. This was the first time that Artemis had spoken up in favor of the girls.

"Artemis! This is important the girls ha . . ." Luna didn't get to finish what she was going to say, Artemis had put his hand over her mouth causing her not able to speak.

"You girls just go ahead and talk about whatever you want to talk about, we will be on our way. I think we will take a long walk to the park or something." Artemis pulled Luna out of the room by her tail, Eclipse followed 
disapprovingly.

Serena jumped over onto the bed where Raye was sitting. She grabbed a brush off of Raye's bedside table. She held it to her moth like a microphone. "And the latest news is that Raye Hino and the latest rock-star Chad have been seen in the Tokyo Park. But that's not all, they were kissing!" Serena moved the brush towards Raye's mouth. "So Raye what is the real deal with you and Chad?"

Raye's face had gone beat red with embarrassment. Everyone's eyes were on her. The room was completely silent. Then Lita was the first to speak up. "So Raye spill it!"

There was a long pause then Raye opened her mouth. "Well me and Chad did kiss, I don't want to know how Serena found out." Raye turned to look at Serena. "But we are going out."

The room was silent, and then suddenly the whole room was full of voices and questions all at once amid at Raye. "Everyone, please one at a time!" Raye yelled out then the entire room went silent again. "Now you guys have to 
promise me something." Raye looked at her friends seriously. They all nodded their heads in agreement. "You have to promise me that you won't go spreading this whole thing around, we aren't ready for the media to find it out."

Everyone nodded their heads with agreement, and then all at once as if on que they started asking a million of question's at once. A large sweat drop went over Raye's head as she started to answer the many questions one at a time.

* * * * *

"Hey Jessica isn't that, oh what's his name? Kevin! That's it, isn't that Kevin?" Eclipse asked as he looked in the direction of the blonde sitting on the close by bench.

Jessica looked over. "Yeah it is, come on lets go over and say hi to him, I haven't seen him since that day at the ice cream parlor." Jessica quickly walked over to where Kevin sat.

"Hey where have you been? What happened to you the other day at the ice cream parlor?" Jessica asked as she jumped over the back of the bench, she landed beside Kevin.

"Oh Jessica it is great to see you again." Kevin paused and scratched his head in thought. "Ah well you see after that smoke filled the area I couldn't see you or your friends any more. You must have gone one way and I must have gone the other."

"Oh." Jessica said as she looked up at Kevin's pale blue eyes. Her long red hair gently waved in the cool summer breeze. She took her right hand and brushed a strand of hair that went in front of her face blocking he view.

Jessica and Kevin talked for the rest of the afternoon together. They talked about almost anything and everything. They laughed and had a great time.

Kevin smiled a warm smile. 'Why do I fell so comfortable around this girl? It isn't like she has any connection to my past. She can't possibly help me. I have to be careful around her, I don't want to get too comfortable with 
her, I might slip and tell her something that I shouldn't.' Kevin turned from Jessica and looked up at the sun, which was setting in the distance.

"Well I better be going now, I told my mom that I'd be back for supper. And it's a bit past that now." Jessica stood up and turned towards her house.

Kevin watched as Jessica disappeared in the distance. 'When will I figure everything out? I still have no idea what I am doing here. This is so stupid. These dreams that I am having are so stupid. Just STUPID dreams!' Kevin stood up and walked away hastily.

* * * * *

Jessica wiped away the sleep in her eyes as she stepped onto the cold tiled kitchen floor. She looked around the large room. Her mother and father were both sitting with their heads down on the table. And her brother and sister 
were lying on the floor with the Saturday morning comic's that come in the regular Saturday newspaper.

"Jessica what's wrong? Why are you just standing in the doorway to the kitchen? I thought that you would be eating the new waffles in the freezer that your mother made the other day." Eclipse walked past Jessica and looked at her family that all were slouched over at where they sat. "Oh what is going on here?" Eclipse asked as he walked up to the table.

Jessica reached over and picked up the comic's that her younger brother and sister had been reading. She suddenly became weak and fell to the floor. Eclipse rushed to Jessica's said and took the newspaper from her and flung it across the room. "Jessica are you okay?" Eclipse nudged the girl with his cold wet nose.

Jessica slowly sat up. "Yeah I'm okay, what happened? As Soon as I touched the newspaper I remember becoming really tired and all I wanted to do was curl up in a ball and sleep."

"Well something s going on here, I think you better call the other scouts. I think we might have to make a trip to this newspaper company and see what is going on." 

* * * * *

The six girls stood outside of the large newspaper factory. "Alright girls lets do this!" Jessica said as she held her transformation wand above her head. The other's followed her lead and shouted out their transformation 
phrase one at a time.

"MOON STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"MERCURY STAR . . . . . POWER!" 
"MARS STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"JUPITER STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"VENUS STAR . . . . . POWER!"
"SUN STAR . . . . . POWER!"

Once each of the girls had transformed they sneaked around the back and looked into a large window of the building. And there standing on a platform above everything was Lord Sith. He was laughing historically. "Alright lets go!" Sailor Sun said leading the charge. They barged into the building through a large brown door.

Lord Sith stopped his historical laughing and looked in the direction of the door. There six forms of sailor suited girls stood. They each had their hands on their hips. Sailor Moon stepped forward first.

"I am Sailor Moon! I will right wrongs and triumph over evil, and that means you! So on behalf of the moon I will punish you!" Sailor Moon got into her fighting stance.

"On behalf of the planet Mercury!" Sailor Mercury stepped up beside Sailor Moon and got into her fighting stance.

"On behalf of Mars!"

"On behalf of Jupiter!"

"On behalf of Venus!"

"And on behalf of the Sun!"

Each of the girls stepped up beside Sailor Moon and took their fighting stances ready for battle.

"Bravo! Bravo!" Lord Sith clapped his hands together loudly. "Well now that your little introduction is over I guess I can start killing you! Lord Sith held his hands out in front of his chest and two balls of green fire formed in the palms of his hands. "Take this!" Lord Sith said as he flung one of the balls at one side of the sailor scout's and the other ball at the other side of them. Causing there to be a ring of fire surrounding them.

The six girls looked to either side. The hot flames were licking at their legs and arms. They all huddled together in the middle of the circle of fire.

"Oh now what are we going to do?" Sailor Moon asked as she huddled closer to the other's as the circle of fire started to come closer to them.

Sailor Sun looked around the room, looking for anything that might help her and the other's get out of the circle. Then she spotted the sprinkler's high above their heads. She whispered into Sailor Mars' ear. Sailor Mars nodded 
her head. Then Sailor Sun crouched down ready to leap onto the rope above her head.

Sailor Mars called out her attack and she carefully aimed her fire at the sprinklers above causing them to turn on and the fire around the girls died away. And the room was filled with smoke.

Lord Sith covered his mouth and coughed. "Those wretched brats! What can they be up to now?" He asked himself as he looked around trying to see anything in the dense smoke that surrounded him.

Sailor Sun then swung off of the rope that she had climbed onto earlier. She did a flip in the air then outstretched her foot and kicked Lord Sith right in the mouth. He went flying back and hit the wall. Sailor Sun landed on the platform standing over him.

Lord Sith put his hand to his mouth and wiped away the blood that was on his face. He smiled a sinister smile and slowly stood up. Sailor Sun got into her fighting stance.

Lord Sith walked towards Sailor Sun. He took his index finger and pushed Sailor Sun back with an unexpected amount of strength. Sailor Sun couldn't balance herself and she fell over the railing of the platform. She began to 
fall to the ground below.

Just before she hit the Daystar Knight came to her rescue and pulled her close to his upper body and moved her to safety. He set her down on a bench along the side of the building. Sailor Sun was out of it for a while she fainted when she was falling two stories to the floor below.

Sailor Moon and the other sailor scout's (expect Sailor Venus who was over with the Daystar Knight and Sailor Sun) were each trying their attacks on Lord Sith. But every time they tried to hit hi his disappeared and materialized 
at another part of the building.

After much work Sailor Jupiter managed to hit Lord Sith unexceptionally with her thunderbolts. This knocked him off his balance and he fell to the ground below. When he managed to sit up he was greeted with the unhappy faces of four girls. Sailor Mars then hit him with her flame-thrower.

Lord Sith weekly stood up. He tried to throw fireballs at the four girls but didn't have enough strength. Then a look of dread and realization came across his face as he fell to his knees. He cradled his head in his hands. "Okay just destroy me now Sailor Moon, I no longer have my strength. I'd rather you destroy me so I can die with honor instead of being destroyed by Queen Hecate."

Sailor Moon without a thought put her hand above her head and her Moon Scepter appeared in her hand. She held it out in front of her chest.

"MOON SCEPTER . . . . . BANISH!"

The blue and pink light headed straight towards Lord Sith. Sailor Venus got up and ran towards Lord Sith she stood protectively in front of Lord Sith. The pink and blue light surrounded Sailor Venus not doing anything to her since she was already good and had a pure heart. Since she had just come in contact with a lot of energy she fell to her knees. Lord Sith caught her in his arms.

Sailor Venus looked up and smiled weakly at Lord Sith. "Y . . . You did that for me? Why, why would you do something like that for me after I treated you and your friends so badly?" Lord Sith asked as he cradled Sailor Venus' head in his right hand, with his other hand he brushed the pieces of hair that had come lose from her red ribbon in her hair.

Sailor Sun woke up and she walked over to where Sailor Venus and Lord Sith were sitting on the floor. The Daystar Knight followed. Sailor Moon and the three other sailor scouts' went over and stood around Lord Sith and Sailor Venus.

"I . . . I did it because I care to much about you to just let you go like that. I don't know if you ever got the feeling that one you look into someone else's eyes you just know that you want to be with that person forever?" Sailor Venus put her hand onto Lord Sith's face.

Tears were coming down his cheeks. "What are these?" Lord Sith asked as he put his hand to his face and wiped the tears onto his hand.

"Those are tears." Sailor Venus said as she fell into a deep sleep. The blast from Sailor Moon Scepter had taken a lot out of her. Lord Sith set Sailor Venus carefully on the ground.

"Sailor Moon can you heal me?" Lord Sith asked as he stepped towards Sailor Moon and the other's.

Sailor Moon nodded and took her transformation brooch off of her uniform and called out the phrase that would heal Lord Sith. He became wrapped in pure energy and all of the evil energy was sucked out of his body and replaced with pure energy. After the healing process was over he feel to his knees beside Sailor Venus. He had also had a lot of energy taken out of his body during the healing process.

Mina laughed like she hadn't in a long time when the green hared man that was sitting beside her tickled her sides. She had a big smile one her face as she leaded her head on his shoulder. It is hard to believe that you could turn out to be such a kind caring person after all Seth! Mina said as she looked up into his green eyes. She smiled again then closer her eyes and put her head on his shoulder. This was where she wanted to be. At last she had a great kind caring boyfriend.
