Sailor Moon Millennium #13 - Trickery -

It was a hot summer day and everyone was sitting on a large red and white checkered picnic blanket. There were piles of food spread out across the large blanket. "Lita you really out did yourself this time!" Ken said as he looked around at all the food.

"Ken is right you really went out of your way this time, look you made everyone's favorites! You must have spent a lot of time doing all this." Amy said as she took a bite out of her yellow tailed tuna sandwich.

"Yeah it must have had taken you forever to make all of this food. You have enough food here to feed a whole army." Jessica said as Brent passed her another honey sandwich.

"Oh I don't mind really! I love to cook, it isn't the time that it took to make it was the care and love that I put into my cooking. And you all have to remember that I love to cook, and that I want to open a restaurant someday and it will be world famous!"

Raye looked over at Serena. "Why haven't you eaten anything yet Serena? I thought that you would have had everything gone by now! Are you feeling okay?" Raye waved her hand in front of Serena's face.

Serena continued to stare at all the food. "I just can't get over all this food, no wonder you had to use four picnic baskets to fit all of this stuff on!" Serena said as she continued to stare at all the food in front of her.

"Well wait until you see what I packed for desert!" Lita said as she reached behind her back and pulled out a large green cooler. Everyone else looked at the cooler wide eyed.

Jessica looked over at Mina who was sitting off to the side. She had a pile of daisies on her lap. "What are you doing?" Jessica asked as she looked at her friend with curious eyes. 

Mina just looked up and gave Jessica a soft smile. "Nothing." She said in a very quiet voice. Then she turned back to picking the petals off the daisies one by one. Jessica looked at Mina oddly then turned back to the other's and took another bite out of her honey sandwich which was followed by a big drink of milk. Everyone except Mina continued to talk and laugh.

"Lord Sith come forth!" Queen Hecate said in a very stern voice. She did not sound pleased at all. She tapped her fingers on the side of her throne impatiently. Her long red nails made small clicking noise.

Lord Sith stepped out of a large green flame. He held his head low. He knew that he as in trouble. "Yes my queen, is there anything that I can get for you? Any way that I can help you?" Lord Sith bowed before his queen.

"Yes there is something that you can do for me! You can get out of my site and come up with a plan to get ride of those sailor scouts and get the Golden Illusion Jewel. I am giving you this other chance because you did so well at
your last plan that I will give you another try at the whole thing."

"Yes my queen." Lord Sith bowed again, he felt relived.

"Now get out of my site! And don't fail me. You are dismissed." Queen Hecate waved her hand to dismiss Lord Sith. He did a last bow before his queen and disappeared in a large green flame.

"Well we all should be heading out now." Jessica looked down at her watch then turned towards Lita. "Oh and Lita all the food was great, I never had such good tasting food before! You are a wonderful cook! I'm sure that you 
will have your world famous restaurant someday."

"Yeah everything was great." Serena said as she shoved more donuts into her mouth. "You wouldn't mind if I took some of the desert leftovers?" Serena asked as she looked at Lita with pleading eyes.

Lita blushed at Jessica's and Serena's comments. "No go ahead, you all can take home something. That way I know that none of the food will be wasted. Since I live alone I don't think that I would be able to eat all this food without it going bad. So each of you can take something."

After everyone had gotten something to carry home in his or her hands they said their good-byes to each other and thanked Lita for the great picnic. Then they each went their own ways.

Mina walked along the gravel path towards her home Artemis was at her heels. She held her head low. Her face showed the expression of thought. 'I wonder if he would go out with me? Yeah I know that there are a few things that we will have to change. But that shouldn't be too hard. We have done it before so we can do it again.' Mina thought to herself as she continued to walk along the gravel path.

"Mina is there something wrong? You really aren't yourself today. Is there something that is bothering you?" Artemis asked as he trotted up to Mina's side. He looked up at her face with worry in his blue eyes.

Mina didn't say anything for a minute then she turned to look at her faithful guardian cat and smiled a soft smile. "No there is nothing wrong." She paused. "I was just thinking that is all. You don't have to worry your small little head." She paused again and looked straight in front of her. "Just guy problems. I really don't feel like talking about it right now." Mina turned and looked at Artemis and smiled a smile that said don't worry.

Artemis watched Mina as they walked along the path. Then he turned his head and concentrated in the direction that he was going.

Lord Sith paced around a dark circular room. His eyes were full of thought. "I wonder." He stopped and put his hand to his chin, his face became even more full of wonder. "No that wouldn't work." Lord Sith shook his head and continued to pace around the room.

After many circles he stopped again. "I have it!" he said as he snapped his finger's together. "Yes this has to work, I must work, or I'm going to be in big trouble with the queen. Mistress Fraud come forth." Lord Sith held his hands at his side.

In a few short moments a woman materialized through the floor. Once she was standing before Lord Sith she looked at him with cold orange eyes. She had long orange hair that went down to her ankles. The hair had black streaks throughout it. She wore a tight long black dress.

"Yes Lord Sith how may I help you?" She continued to stare at Lord Sith with her cold gaze.

Lord Sith walked up to Mistress Fraud. "I need you to help with my little plan. And you are the best person that can do this job, and if you do succeed then the queen will be very kind and oh perhaps move you to a higher position." 
Lord Sith circled Mistress Fraud. "Well how about it? Are you going to help me carry out this plan."

Mistress Fraud turned her head in the direction of Lord Sith, her frown turned into a small evil smirk. "I would be happy to help you Lord Sith."

* * * * *

Mina and Artemis continued to walk down the streets of Tokyo towards their home. Mina hadn't said anything since they were in the park. She spent the time thinking. She hadn't come to a conclusion but was hoping to come to one soon.

Artemis still was concerned for Mina. He had never seen Mina without anything to say, usually she would be babbling on and never stop talking all the way home. But not today, she had a loss for words or something.

"Help! Please help me!" Mina and Artemis both turned their heads in the direction of the cry for help. It was coming from a close by electronic store close by. Mina jumped into an alley, being careful to not let anyone see who 
she really is. She held her transformation wand above her head.

"VENUS STAR . . . . . POWER!"

When the bright pink and orange light's died down Sailor Venus did her transformation pose and called the other sailor scout's with her communicator. Then ran out of the alley towards the electronic store.

When she got to the store all the lights were out and there was no one to be seen. Sailor Venus carefully entered the store. As soon as she had gotten through the door she heard a loud clicking noise. The door had been shut behind her and locked. Artemis was still outside Sailor Venus was all alone.

She slowly made her way down to the back of the store where she could hear crying. In the far-left corner was a woman with short orange hair. Sailor Venus ran to her side. "Are you alright?" She asked as she knelt at the 
woman's side.

The woman looked up into Sailor Venus's blue eyes. "Oh I'm fine." She paused. "But I don't believe that you are!" With those words she stood up and there was a bright flash of orange and black light. 

And there standing before Sailor Venus was a woman with long orange hair that had black streaks throughout it. She wore a tight fitting black dress. She looked down on Sailor Venus with her cold orange eyes. "I am Mistress Fraud! And I am very glad that you fell for my trap! Now Lord Sith come out and see what I have got for you!"

Mistress Fraud held her hand out in front of her chest and in the palm of her hand were three orange streamers. They wrapped around Sailor Venus's body. She fell to the floor unable to move.

Lord Sith stepped out of a green flame. He looked at Mistress fraud and smiled. "Good work! Now lets see which sailor scout you have gotten me. Is it their leader Sailor Moon?"

Lord Sith bent over and turned Sailor Venus over. He looked down at her blue eyes. Sailor Venus looked up into his green eyes. They became looked to each other's eyes.

Mistress Fraud cleared her throat. "What is the matter?" She asked as she looked down at Lord Sith with questioning eyes. "Which scout is she? Is she the one that you wanted?"

Lord Sith abruptly stood up. "Nothing is wrong, what made you think that?" He said hastily. "No there is nothing a matter, the queen will be very pleased with your work. Now get the girl and send her back to the Darkstar Galaxy and I will deal with her there."

"No you won't!" I voice from the darkness called. "Leave her alone!" Lord Sith and Mistress Fraud turned in the direction of the voice. There standing before them was the rest of the sailor scouts. Sailor Moon held her right hand out and was pointing at Mistress Fraud. "Release her or else!"

"Or what? Are you going to use your Moon Scepter on me? Oh I'm so scared! Please don't hurt me!" Mistress Fraud said sarcastically. "Now let the games begin." She held her hands above her head and there was a big blast and smoke surrounded the room. When the smoke had died down there was an exact copy of each of the sailor scouts standing beside the real one's.

"This can't be good!" Sailor Sun said as she looked at her evil copy. "How are we going to do this?" She asked the other's for answers. Sailor Sun took a kick at her evil copy, but the evil copy blocked the attack, it was as if she was expecting the attack.

Each of the scouts fought their evil copy. But every time that they went to kick or punch their evil copy, the evil copy blocked the attack as if they knew what was going to happen.

"This isn't working, Sailor Mercury do you have any plans? What are we going to be able to do?" Sailor Jupiter asked as she skillfully ducked from one of her evil copy's kicks.

Sailor Mercury touched her blue earring and her VR Visor went over her eyes. She scanned the evil copy before her while she dogged the attacks of the evil copy.

"They are exactly like us, but only evil. They know what we are going to do because they are us. We have to trick them because they know or every move. We can trick them by . . ." Sailor Mercury never got to finish, she was knocked across the room by her evil twin.

Sailor Sun looked over at Sailor Mercury. "Oh great, just what we didn't need!" She jumped up into the air to dodge another kick from her evil double. "We have to trick them by doing what?" Sailor Sun asked herself.

Then it came to her. "I know we have to do something that we normally wouldn't do. Something that would surprise even ourselves. Since these evil clones are us we have to do something that WE normally wouldn't do." Sailor Sun faked a punch then kicked her evil twin in the back of the leg. The clone fell to the ground. Once the evil twin touched the ground it turned into a black puddle.

Sailor Moon, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter all managed to knock their evil twins to the ground, but during the process they each got a couple of mighty blows to the stomach or the legs.

Sailor Mercury woke and she also knocked her evil unsuspecting twin to the ground.

"Yes we did it!" Sailor Moon said as she jumped up and down in the air. She grabbed one of Sailor Sun's hands and one of Sailor Jupiter's hands and jumped up and down around the room.

"Don't be so confident of yourselves!" The sailor scout's all stopped and looked in the direction of the voice. The five puddles on the floor all were coming together. They all formed into a large black puddle. 

From the puddle a figure of a woman formed. It was Mistress Fraud. "You may have gotten rid of your clones easily but you won't get ride of me so easily!" She held her hands out in front of her body and five orange streamers sprung from the palm of her hand and wrapped around each of the sailor scout's throats.

The five girls fell to the ground because of lack of oxygen. They desperately grabbed at the streamer's trying to pry them from their necks. As Mistress Fraud clenched her fist tighter slowly the streamer's got tighter around the five girls throats.

Each of the girls found it harder to breathe. They could feel their body's slowly slip into unconsciousness. Each time that they closed their eyes they found it harder to open them again. The room was starting to spin around them. Everything was a blur in their eyes.

"Yes I will triumph! In a few seconds I Mistress Fraud will have gotten rid of the pesky sailor scout's once and for all!" She reached her hands out in front of her chest and began the final process of the destruction of the sailor scouts.

A red rose hit her right hand and a blade of sliver struck the other. Then a chain of golden and pink hearts wrapped around her body causing her to fall to the ground. The orange streamers disappeared and the five girls fell to their knees gasping for air.

Once each of the girls had gotten enough air into their lungs to make them feel a lot better they stood up to look at their hero's and heroin. Sailor Moon ran to Tuxedo Mask and gave him a big hug. Sailor Sun walked up to the Daystar Knight and thanked him.

The other three girls were by Sailor Venus thanking her. Once everyone was done thanking each other they looked down at where mistress Fraud had fallen. But she wasn't there. Only Sailor Venus's chain was left lying on the floor.

"Take this!" Everyone turned his or her head in the direction of the voice. Mistress Fraud held out her hands and an orange energy began to build up inher hands. She threw it at the sailor scouts, Tuxedo Mask and the Daystar Knight.

The Daystar Knight saw the attack in time and grabbed Sailor Sun in his arms and jumped out of the way as the orange energy hit the other's and sent them to the hard ground.

Sailor Sun looked up at the Daystar knight with thankful eyes. Mistress Fraud's sinister laugh echoed through the store. The shrill laugh caused a few things to shatter. The Daystar Knight took his cape and held it up over his body and Sailor Sun's protecting them from the pieces of glass and plastic.

Sailor Sun gave the Daystar Knight a big hug then nodded her head.

"SUN SOLAR FLARES . . . . . BURN!"

Sailor Sun stood with her legs shoulder width apart. Her hands were at her sides. Her head was looking upward. Then she put her hands out in front of her chest, her hands then began to glow with golden energy she then pushed her arms out as if she is pushing against something heavy. From each of her hands came two flames of fire. They spun around her body in a clockwise direction then went directly in front of her straight towards Mistress Fraud.

"DAYSTAR LASER LIGHT . . . . . STING!"

When the Daystar Knight shouted out the phrase he did a full turn around. When he was back facing Mistress Fruad he held his hands out in front of his stomach with his palm's facing upward. He then put his arms together 
and his hands began to glow with blue light. The light blasted from his hands. The light shot towards Mistress Fraud with a lot of force.

The two attacks hit Mistress Fraud in the back. She spun around screaming in pain as she held her back. She looked at Sailor Sun and Daystar Knight. Her orange eyes were burning with anger. "I thought that I hit all of you 
brats! Last time I didn't but this time I will!" She held her hands above her head and began to spin around in circles.

There was a large boom, which was followed by a blinding flash of light. Everyone covered his or her eyes from the blinding light. When the light had died down the building was reduced to rubble, piles of stone lay where 
the walls once stood.

Sailor Sun slowly opened her eyes she was greeted with the same darkness that she saw when her eyes were shut. "Am . . . am I dead?" She asked herself as she looked around.

"No your not dead Sailor Sun, it is just that the bright light that Mistress Fraud made was so bright that it temporally will make you blind. It happened to me but it quickly wore off." Sailor Sun turned in the direction of the familiar voice. She reached her hand out. She could feel a larger hand touch hers and guide hers to a face.

Sailor Sun jumped into Daystar's arms. He warped his large strong arms around her small fragile body. Suddenly Sailor Sun and the Daystar Knight got a warm safe feeling. They both had a weird flash back.

"Please . . . please don't leave me." A figure of a girl leapt into a man figure's arms. The sky was dark. The two figures appeared to be outside somewhere. The girl was crying. She put her hand on the man's face. "Please, you don't have to go, can't you stay here with me?" The girl pleaded.

"I'm sorry but I have to go, I have no choice in the matter." The man stood up and walked to a window, he turned to face the girl that was sitting on a stone bench. "But I will be back I promise you Princess Ca . . ." Then 
everything slowly went black.

Sailor Sun looked up into the Daystar Knight's blue eyes, she now had her sight back. He looked down at her. They both opened their mouths to say something but never got to. There was a powerful gust and they were both 
flung across the remains of the store.

"Yes this is fun! I WILL destroy you pesky scouts once and for all. Then the queen will give me a better position so take this!" She threw another orange ball of energy at the sailor scouts, Tuxedo Mask and the Daystar Knight.

Tuxedo Mask managed to cover Sailor Moon from the attack but got hit twice as hard. "No!" Sailor Moon screamed as Tuxedo Mask fell into her arms. She set 
Tuxedo Mask off to the side carefully and stood up. She reached her hand above her head. Her Moon Scepter appeared in her hand.

"MOON SCEPTER . . . . . BANISH!"

The rays of pink and blue light went straight towards Mistress Fraud. There were screams coming from the blue and pink light that had completely blocked Mistress Fraud from eye site. Once the light's had disappeared there was 
nothing left of Mistress Fraud.

Sailor Moon ran to Tuxedo Mask's side to see if he was okay. She held his head in her lad. She rubbed her hand along his pale skin. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled.

Once Sailor Moon knew that Tuxedo Mask was okay she then went to help her fiends get to their feet. Everyone had a few cuts and scrapes here and there on them.

"We better get out of here before the police get here." Sailor Mars suggested as she looked in the direction that the police sirens were coming from. Sailor Sun looked to her side to say something to the Daystar Knight but he wasn't standing beside her any more. There was only a small golden flower where he once stood.

"Right!" The other sailor scout's all said in unison. They all ran to a near by alley and de-transformed back into their normal cloths.

"Lord Sith come forth!" Queen Hecate's voice was full of anger. Her eyes were full of fire. Lord Sith stepped out of a flame of green fire.

"Yes my queen." He asked as he bowed before his queen then when he straightened up he stood very uneasily before his queen. He dreaded the worse because of 
his failure.

"You failed me again. I'm only going to give you a few more chances so you better use them wisely and don't screw up again. Is that clear?" The queen asked as she stared at Lord Sith with her red eyes.

"Yes my queen everything is clear. I will use these last chances very carefully like you ask." Lord Sith bowed then he turned to go but the queen stopped him.

"Wait, I want you to meet a couple of friends of mine that will help you with your next mission. They are all very strong powerful warriors. And I'm sure that you will be able to get along with them fine." The queen directed her 
hand of to the side. Six figure's stepped into the dimly lit room. 

Lord Sith looked over each of his new allies. An evil grin spread across his face. 'This will work wonderfully, yes this time I will succeed in the destruction of the sailor scouts.' Lord Sith thought to himself.
