Moon Millennium #1 - Sun Comes Shinning In-

Note:
This is my first Sailor Moon fanfiction so give me a break. And
please keep in mind that all the characters are from the North
American version of Sailor Moon. This story happens a couple
months after the battle with the Wiseman. I hope you enjoy
reading my story!:)
"Oh no! I'm going to be
late and it's my first day at school. This isn't a good way to
start at a whole new school!" Jessica quickly threw her backpack
over her right shoulder as she ran down the street. She was
going from memory from the other day when her mother drove her
to meet the principal and fill out a bunch of forms.
As she turned around a
corner she bumped into someone. Jessica fell over, quickly
picking her backpack up and stood up. She looked at the girl
that she had bumped into. The other girl collected her books
that had fallen out of her backpack.
The girl that Jessica had
run into had long blonde hair that was put up in two buns, one
on each side of her head.
"I'm really sorry, I didn't
see you. I was in such a hurry it's my first day at Crossroads
Junior High and I'm going to be so late." Jessica slung her
backpack over her shoulders.
"Don't worry about it I was
in a hurry too and wasn't paying much attention."
She threw her books into
her backpack and fashioned it shut. "I'm Serena and I'm going to
the same school, who is your homeroom teacher?"
"My name is Jessica, and my
homeroom teacher is Miss. Haruna." Jessica brushed the dirt off
her new school uniform. She tucked a piece of her long red hair
that had fallen out of the brad she was wearing.
"Great now I suggest run as
fast as you can, we still might be able to make it before the
second bell!" Serena grabbed Jessica's arm and they ran off
together towards the school.
Miss. Haruna was standing
at the front of the classroom reading off the class list. Just
as she read off Serena's name the door flew open and in ran
Serena and Jessica.
"Here Miss. Haruna." Serena
called as she ran into the classroom. Jessica walked in calmly
behind her.
"You are cutting it pretty
close today Serena, I should give you a detention anyway. In a
matter of fact I am going to give you one anyway! See you at
lunch Serena." Serena slowly walked over to her desk by the
window and sat down.
"Ah, Miss. Haruna it is my
fault that Serena is late. I literally ran into her and slowed
her down, if anyone should get the detention it should be me."
Jessica stepped up to Miss. Haruna's desk. All eyes were on her.
"You must be Jessica
Walker the new student." Miss. Haruna said while flipping
through her notebook making sure that she said the right name.
"That would be me Jessica
Walker." She said nervously, for now everyone was staring at her
with wide eyes, all thinking the same thing. Why would she stick
up for Serena and offer to take the detention?
Miss. Haruna stood in
silence for a moment. “If that is the case then that means that
your off the hook today Serena.” Miss. Haruna said as she turned
to look at Serena. "You can sit over there by Serena since you
two seem to be friends. She can show you around the school until
you get your whereabouts.” Miss. Haruna said as she turned to
look at Jessica.
Jessica walked over to the
empty desk beside Serena. Miss. Haruna turned to the front of
the classroom and asked everyone to take out his or her math
textbooks while she began to write on the chalkboard.
"So what do you think of
your first day at Crossroads Junior High?" Serena asked as she
stuffed a donut into her mouth.
"Great! I met lots of new
people, made some new friends, not very fond of all the teachers
but I can live with them." Jessica said as she stuffed a jelly
filled donut into her mouth.
"Do you want to do
something later like after supper? I can introduce you to the
girls, Amy, Raye, Lita, and Mina." Serena managed to say as she
shoved another donut into her mouth.
"Sounds good, so what time
do you want to meet at?" Jessica wiped the sugar from around her
lips.
"How about 7:30, at the
park by the rose garden? Oh there you are Luna." Serena said as
she bent down to pick up the small black cat.
"What a cute cat." Jessica
said as she reached over to pat Luna on the head.
"Well I'll see you later
then." Serena said as she began to walk away, she waved over her
shoulder.
"See ya then." Jessica
said as she began to walk off towards her house. The bushes
begin to rustle and Jessica stepped back startled before
relaxing, as a large all black Doberman Pincher stepped out of
the bushes. On its neck was a beautiful gold collar; small
ruby's lining up the center of the collar. From the collar hung
a circle shaped crystal.
"Oh it's just you Eclipse.
I thought it might be someone or something else." Jessica bent
down and patted the dog's big head. He waged his tale with
pleasure. "Come on lets go home."
Jessica sat on the fountain
by the rose garden. Eclipse sat beside her. Over on the bench
was a group of guys. One guy caught her eye; he had short dirty
blonde hair, and he was wearing blue denim over shirt. With
faded blue jeans; she remembered that he was in her homeroom;
and that his name was Ben.
Eclipse stood up and began
to bear his teeth. Jessica looked in the direction that he was
facing, Serena was running up the stone path she almost tripped
over her untied shoelaces but caught herself.
"It's okay boy it's only
Serena, she's a friend." Jessica patted Eclipse's head. The dog
sat back down by her side watching Serena run towards them.
"Hi Jessica!" Serena said
out of breath, "For once I made it here on time." Serena said
still gasping for air.
"Are you usually late?"
Jessica asked as she glanced over at Ben. She then realized that
he was looking at her out of the corner of his eye. He quickly
looked away and began talking with his friends.
"Are you looking at Ben?"
Serena asked as she looked over at Ben.
Jessica could feel her
face turning red. She looked up at Serena with a big smile on
her face. "Yeah," she said shyly.
"You should go and talk to
him, " Serena said as she looked over at Ben again. "Don't look
now but he is looking at you again!"
Jessica casually looked
over and sure enough he was looking at her. She quickly turned
away.
Serena noticed the big dog
sitting at Jessica's side. "Is he yours?" Serena asked
hopefully.
Jessica looked down at
Eclipse. The big dog looked back at her with his big brown eyes.
Jessica nodded. "He's mine; had him for a long time now he came
to me one day when I was little, strangely enough he hasn't aged
at all. We took him to the vets when we first found him and the
vet said he was healthy but couldn't tell what age he was. Odd
don't you think?"
"He doesn't chase cats
does he?" Serena looked at Luna who was hiding behind her legs.
"No, you don't have to
worry about that he wouldn't hurt a fly!" Jessica said as she
rubbed Eclipse's head. "No you wouldn't would you?" Jessica
asked, her voice the tone you would talk to a baby.
"That's good," Serena
looked at the beautiful collar on the dog's neck. "Where did you
get that beautiful collar for him?" Serena asked as she looked
at the collar admirably.
"He had it on when he came
to me. He won't let me take it off." Jessica looked down at the
collar then up at Serena.
"Hi guys what are you
doing?"
Serena and Jessica turned
to see Amy, Raye, Lita and Mina standing on the other side of
the fountain.
"Oh hi guys, this is
Jessica." Serena indicated Jessica who stood up and looked at
all their faces. "This is Ami, Raye, Lita, and Mina." Serena
said as she pointed to each of the girls as she said their
names.
Then each said their
hellos and went to go get an ice cream. The girls sat on one of
the picnic tables and finished their ice creams. They sat
afterwards and talked for a while, the sun slowly beginning to
set behind the mountains in the far distance.
Amy was the first to go
home she had to study for next month's math test. Raye had to go
because she had to finish her chores at the temple. Lita and
Mina both left, they had no reasons.
"Well I better get going my
mom might start to get worried if I'm out too late." Jessica
turned and started to walk down the gravel path. Eclipse trotted
at her heels.
"Alright see you
tomorrow." Serena bent down and picked up Luna and walked the
other way.
"Queen Hecate may I have
your permission to go down to earth and collect energy from
those pathetic unsuspecting humans? We do need energy to open
the Dark Portal." A deep masculine the voice could be heard in
the large dank throne room of the Dark Star Palace.
There was a bright
fireball, which burst out of nowhere in front of the throne
where the Queen sat. Out of the fire stepped a tall man with
fire red hair; his eyes were also the same red as his hair. He
wore all black even his cape was black it was hard to see him in
the dim light of the throne room.
The Queen looked at the man
that stood in front of her. "Ah Rhodonite, just the man I wanted
to see. I want you to go down to earth and collect all the
energy needed to open the Dark Portal." Queen Hecate turned to
look at Rhodonite she looked down at him with her dark blood red
eyes, which matched with her long black hair that had red
streaks throughout it. She wore a long black dress; and on her
neck she wore a blood red choker.
"Now Rhodonite go and bring
me the energy needed!" Queen Hecate commanded as she slammed the
staff that she was holding on the floor.
"Yes your majesty."
Rhodonite bowed before his Queen then with one steady movement
of his arm he disappeared in a ball of fire.
Jessica walked down the
street towards her house. She heard someone walking behind her
she turned around and it was only Eclipse. The big dog trotted
to her side.
She walked along the
sidewalk and she heard it again she turned around and again no
one was there. She started to get a little scared. It was now
dark the first stars were appearing in the darkening sky.
Suddenly a black shadow ran
in front of Jessica and Eclipse and the big dog bared his teeth
protectively sensing a threat. "What is it boy?" Jessica asked
as she bent down to hold the dog's neck. Again a black shadow
ran in front of them.
Jessica stood up and she
heard rustling up in the branches of the large tree above her.
From the tree jumped a tall man dressed in all black, the man’s
red eyes looked down coldly at her. Eclipse lunged at the man,
who moved out of the way, almost as if he knew what the dog was
going to do and Eclipse hit the cement wall hard, not moving.
Jessica looked up at the
man that stood before her. "Please leave me alone." Jessica said
as she stepped back, now terrified.
"I just want your energy
you stupid human, give it up you don't need it for anything.
Give it to the Queen Hecate." The man said as he stepped forward
his arm touching Jessica's forehead and she could feel her
energy slowly leave her body.
"What do you think your
doing you nega-creep? Leave her alone!"
Rhodonite looked up to
where the voice was coming from, and there standing on the
stonewall was Sailor Moon.
"I am Sailor Moon, champion
of justice I will right wrongs and triumph over evil like you."
Sailor Moon said as she did her pose.
Rhodonite threw back his
head and laughed a sinister laugh. "Do you think you can stop
me?" He dropped Jessica to the ground and turned to face Sailor
Moon. He lifted his arms a black mist appeared and headed
straight for Sailor Moon who didn't even have time to jump out
of the way. The mist starting to drain the energy from her body,
before she fell to her knees.
Jessica crawled over to
Eclipse who lifted his head and slowly, stood up. Helping
Jessica stand up he led her into the bushes where they would be
safe. In the bushes Jessica heard someone yell “Mercury bubbles
blast”. And although she looked out of the bushes she couldn't
see anything because it had become cloudy.
"Where did you meddling
brats go to?" Rhodonite looked around in the mist.
"MARS CELESTIAL FIRE . . .
. . SURROUND!" Sailor Mars's said as her attack hit Rhodonite,
injuring him, angrily he held his injured arm and glared at
them.
"You will have to do better
then that!" He yelled. The fog slowly faded away, there standing
in front of him were five shadows.
"We are the Sailor Scouts
and we will not let you hurt innocent people!" The sailor Scouts
yelled in unison.
"You girls believe that you
can stop me?" He demanded as he lifted his right arm into the
air before there was a bright blinding light. As the Sailor
Scouts shielded their eyes from the light there was a loud
thunder like crash before the girls were then knocked off their
feet by a powerful gust and they too lay there on the ground not
moving.
A rage was beginning to
build up inside Jessica. "I have to help them they tried to help
me!" Jessica said as she stood up and walked out of the bushes.
“I will not let you hurt them! In the name of the Sun I will
punish you!" Jessica said as she pointed at Rhodonite. 'Where
did that come from?' She asked herself in confusion.
"You can not stop me I am
Rhodonite the most powerful General of the Dark Star, your only
a pathetic human you can't stop me!" He said arrogantly as he
started to raise his right arm to the sky again, but before he
could a black cat and a white one jumped on to his arm and began
to bite and claw it.
He shook the cats off his
arm, which he then held to the sky and instantly there was a
bright flash of light before a powerful gust knocked Jessica
over.
Jessica quickly stood up,
now very angry. "You can't get ride of me that easy!" She said
before the sign of the sun appeared on her forehead.
Luna gasped in surprise.
"Another Sailor Scout." She said.
"JUPITER THUNDER CLAP . . .
. . STAB!" Sailor Jupiter managed to say with the last bit of
energy, her attack hitting the unexpecting Rhodonite; also
lifting the black mist attack that had been sucking the energy
of the other Sailor Scouts and he fell to the ground in shock.
Eclipse stepped out of the
bushes. "It is time you knew Jessica." He said slowly
Jessica, who was startled,
then turned around looking for the person who had spoken to her,
finding Eclipse in the bushes where the voice had come from.
"Did you say something?" She asked very curiously.
"Yes I did Jessica." The
dog replied before jumped into the air and did a back flip a
bright flash of light a small red and orange stick appearing,
topped with a star the stick had the center of the star as the
sign of the Sun.
"It's so beautiful."
Jessica ran her fingers over the warm metal, a surge of energy
flowing through Jessica's body.
Eclipse walked up to
Jessica's side. "Now hold it up towards the sky and say Sun Star
Power!" He instructed
Jessica who was a little
hesitant held up the stick above her head and then yelled: "SUN
STAR . . . . . POWER!"
She then closed her eyes,
her transformation wand disappearing into many little orange and
gold sparkles - causing her body to shimmer in the colors of the
same sparkles as they fell onto her body. A silver tiara
appeared next with a red jewel in the center. The jewel then
emitted a blinding flash of orange light, which surrounded
Jessica, making her feel like the bright morning sun was on her
body.
There was a swirl of orange
and gold sparkles which then wrapped around her body moving
upward as they spun around her body a body suit of her uniform
then appearing, with a bow coming out of the heart in the center
of her chest before sparkling golden rings went around her feet
forming boots while still more sparkling rings went around her
arms forming gloves. Soon afterward the golden sparkles went
around her waist forming her skirt.
At that point there was a
large burst of golden sparkles that flew up into the air, and
when the sparkles fell to the ground and then the newest Sailor
Scout was reveled, fully transformed and quickly she – Sailor
Sun did her transformation pose, which consisted of her standing
with one hand across her forehead and the other across her
stomach with her legs together, her long red hair blowing to the
side.
Starting at the top she had
a shimmering gold ribbon that held up her hair. Unlike the other
scout's she had a silver tiara set with a scarlet stone, and a
red choker (darker then Sailor Mars') in the center of the
choker was a gold star jewel with small generally round points.
Sailor Sun's earrings were
the symbol of the sun, and gold in color. Her shoulder flap was
very different then the other scout's it was made up of two
colors: gold and red. Set up with the gold at the top and the
red below it, it also had one thin white stripe. Unlike the
others she didn't have shoulders on her uniform but instead her
uniform had transparent shoulder guards at each shoulder.
The bow on her chest was
the same red as her choker. Instead of the other inner senshi’s
she had a heart in the center of her bow with the color of the
heart being a deep red while the body of her uniform was the
same white color as that of the other scout’s. The bow in the
back of her uniform was the same color as the bow in front, and
again it was longer then the other scout's going down to her
knees.
Her gloves were white and
went up to her elbow while the rings on the gloves were gold.
Her skirt was red and gold like her collar with the red at the
top and the gold at the bottom. All of which was in a zigzag
pattern. She wore knee-length boots that were red in color. The
trim around the top of the boot gold - in the center on the trim
was the symbol of the sun, which, was also gold in color.
The other Sailor Scouts
gasped in shock before they slowly stood up still weak from
Rhodonite's attack. Rhodonite stood up, he was about to raise
his right to the sky but a red rose cut his hand. He held his
hand, blood trickling down his arm.
The girls and Rhodonite
looked to where the rose came from and there was Tuxedo Mask
standing on the cement wall. He scowled at Tuxedo Mask before he
then turned back to the six Sailor Scouts and raised his hand to
the sky once more.
"SUN FIRE BEAM . . . . .
BURN!" Everyone turned to look at Sailor Sun. She stood with her
legs together, and then she put her hands together as if she
were going to pray.
She then closed her eyes
and slowly lifted her hands towards the sky. Her hair during
this whole time hair was blowing fiercely around her before a
bright flash of gold and orange light emanated from her body,
which began to shimmer. Just before a large golden fireball
began to spin around her.
The fireball turned and
then zoomed towards Rhodonite. When it reached him it spun
around him a couple of times – circling him, and each time the
fireball got closer to his skin, he got burned.
Sailor Sun's attack hit
Rhodonite hard; he fell to his knees in pain. "You stupid Sailor
girls, you have no idea of what kind of power that you're
dealing with." He said, and with those words he disappeared in a
ball of fire.
Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars,
Jupiter, and Venus turned to look at Sailor Sun. Luna and
Artiemis stepping forward as Eclipse walked up to Sailor Sun's
side.
"I can't believe it,
another Sailor Scout." Luna said still looking a little shocked
and surprised.
"That is right." Eclipse
said as he stepped forward. "She is the Sailor Scout of the Sun.
One of the most powerful scouts beside you Sailor Moon." Eclipse
stated truthfully while he looked up at Sailor Moon.
"So Sailor Sun is Jessica
Walker!" Sailor Moon asked in an excited voice as she looked at
Sailor Sun who stood very elegantly, a light breeze picking up
Sailor Sun's long red hair.
"That is right Sailor Moon.
I am her guardian, her royal protector. She has finally come to
Tokyo to join forces with her old friends the Sailor Scouts."
Eclipse replied as he stood alongside his charge.
"Great we will need all the
help we can get fighting against these new enemies they seemed
to be very powerful." Luna said before she stepped in front of
Sailor Moon.
"Yes that is true, but this
enemy seems very strong, they won't be able to be beaten easily,
this may be a great battle to fight." Eclipse said lifted his
head and looked at all the Sailor Scouts faces.
"Rhodonite you failed me
how could you?" Queen Hecate asked her voice sounding very mad
as she glared at him angrily
"But your Majesty I didn't
know that there were warriors that protect this planet. And I
did get a large amount of energy from them." Rhodonite he said
as he stepped out of the ball of fire. Before he then hung his
head in shame.
"Yes I can see that you
collected some energy. You will just have to try harder, I'll
let you off easy this time but next time I might not be as
forgiving." She warned.
"I will not fail you next
time my Queen I am going to get one of your strongest demons to
help me." Rhodonite said before he turned and then disappeared
in a ball of fire.
So what do you think? Good
for my first attempt at a fanfic? I think so!! :)
